Les Miles hasn't been treated poorly. I hear he's been getting a warm reception on the speaking tour thus far.

Hello? Are you new here? Do you think he might be tired of all the Saban bullshite after 5 fricking years? Jackass LSU fans who complain about everything he does, from the way he talks to people still bitching about a fricking game he coached 4 years ago?

Les Miles makes almost 4 million dollars/year to coach football. He'll be just fine.
4 million & being Home, having fans that actually appreciate the "Little things". Like winning National Championships & multiple 11 win seasons. Things many LSU fans like to pretend we had under the Midget.

Where? On here? On the internet? If that is what you are talking about, I don't thinks he gives two shits about what is posted on the internet, or what is said on talk radio for that matter.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, that sounds so sweet. Listen, Les has been treated just fine. I don't think he is as sensitive as you are either.

He wins Bowl games? 2 of the 3 years he was at Okie State he lost his bowl game.

At LSU he has won bowl games, but he's had superior athletes in 3 of those 4 games

Which one did he not have superior athletes?

I would say Miami in the Peach Bowl. They still had a ton of ballers IMO.

In 2007, LSU had a much higher overall quality of athlete than OSU

I'm not sensative about it at all. There is a reason LSU hasn't neen able to keep a Football coach longer than 5 years since 1980. Check out JJ27 in a simple Yes or No question. Look at him go.. LINK People in LA. won't or can't except Miles as LSU's HC & that is a real problem. LSU has a very bad Sabanista infestation, coupled with a weak AD in Joe Alleva.

Yes, you are. You are acting as if Les is some abused/oppressed persons. That is not the case at all.

You act like the entire fanbase posts on here and that is not the case.

Les is just fine.

Well, had some of our coaches been more successful, that might not be the case.

I highly suspect that Les Miles will be in BR as LSU head football coach in 2010 for a 6th year.

What JJ posts is irrelevant. It will make no difference in Les' job security.

Yes, they have. Maybe they don't treat him as if he invented football and can walk on water the way you would like, but he has been accepted and is one of the reasons why he'll be back for a 6th year in 2010.

It goes no further than the internet.

Les Miles will be fine.

All of this is in your head.

Don't know. Never seen the "But Saban popped my NC cherry, I expect all LSU Football coaches to dress in Bill Cosby 1980's style sweaters." before.

We have been "able" to. DiNardo, Hallman, Archer, Stovall; they would all have loved to have been here for 6, 7, 10+ years. But there IS a reason we haven't kept a football coach longer than 5 years, many of them in fact. They read like this:

3-8, 4-7, 2-9, 4-7, 3-8, 5-6, 4-7, etc., etc.

Saban and Arnsparger are the only two coaches since Cholly Mac that LSU would have allowed to stay more than five years, and one retired and the other jumped for a bajillion dollars in the NFL. Neither of which even remotely suggests that the coaches did not like the way they were treated at LSU.

Cowherd is fun to listen to because he talks more than just sports and he knows he's in the entertainment business. He readily admits he is a USC homer which few ESPN pricks have the balls to do.

Les is his flavor of the month for some reason, a few weeks ago he compared him to Stoops who he called overrated.

I started listening to him about 3 years ago and he was doing a list of 50 things to do and not to do in Vegas. I have never been and have no interest in Vegas, but it was hysterical.

Cowherd is good because he likes Les Miles.

That's real talk.

Bottom line is Les Miles can flat out coach football. End of discussion.
