No doubt LSU players rip at that 2-0 pitch. LSU swung at every 2-0 pitch in May and June.

Good for them!

I have to admit that I've been really down on LSU Baseball for a few years and was disappointed in this years elimination to CCU. I guess, LSU just had the misfortune of getting a really hot team to play against in the Super Regional.

I sure do miss going to the CWS every year like we used to do.

We go to the cws just about every other year it could be much much worse

I think they have quite a bit of upperclassmen leadership and experience as well. Very salty, hungry group.

LSU went to CWS 2 out of 5 years under Smoke FWIW. He wasn't very good, but doesn't really fit behind that sentence either.

Taken as a whole, it was abundantly obvious the program was headed for the dumps. Just look at how bad Mainieri's first team was
