LSU has already done this at the men’s basketball games. If you sit in the right spot, a game ops worker will just drop a free hot dog into your lap!

Interesting move. How will they pay for that, will they raise ticket prices to cover the cost?

Better known as Hot Dogs from Heaven . They drop them down from the rafters on little parachutes.

In revenue they certainly are.

Say half the stadium gets concessions at some point during the game with an average price of $15 (we all know it's more). That's already $750,000.

Say 1/5 are have 2-3 drinks during the game. That's already another $800,000-900,000 easily.

isn't there an attendance number they have to meet in order to stay D1?

All the fat Louisiana baws would be grabbing 20 hot dogs at a time if they did this at football games

Their capacity is 21,000. So they average at 90% full stadium, not too bad at all.

LSU does enough for us already! No need for free food! I mean, they give away 30 hot dogs to a lucky section at baseball games each game. I’m so thankful that LSU would take such a hit for us fans.

You sure about that? I'm not a mathematician but I think $10-20 per person at a 100k capacity venue would hit the mark. $20 per person is pretty much the low end of what I spend in there. Honestly with $8 beer and dip n dots and stuff for the kids its probably closer to $30/person

Yea in Revenue. That 2 million would be lost for the entire year not per game. LSU doesn't get all the profits anyway. They give a percentage to fundraising non profits that work the concessions as well as whatever Aramark takes.

Your move TAF!
i’d rather TAF spend their money on things actual that could help the LSU program win games
