We do a good job protecting the plate with 2 strikes unless it’s right down broadway.

The amount of watched strikes is concerning. They are either guessing or can't see him. Maybe a little of both.

We are letting this guy get away with throwing first-pitch—and sometimes last-pitch—meatballs.
I know work the count and all that but if you have a good pitch to hit, you swing at it.

This guy is throwing strikes right down the middle and usually it's a first pitch meatball. They have to swing at those. If they go to someone, oh well. You have to take those opportunities. Very hittable pitches because this ump is squeezing the zone.

Swung at ball 4, looked at strike up the middle. This is crazy. They look at first pitch strikes almost every time as well.

Brown should be embarrassed by that at bat. Swinging at a ball 2 feet off the plate and getting lucky to even make contact and then just staring at a ball right over home plate.
