Porter is a great recruiter, so I don't really care who likes him as long as his RBs excel and he brings in blue chip athletes.

I got to see the whole thing, I was sitting right behind them about 10 rows up. It was kinda getting out of hand because Peveto seemed to just keep going back for the guy when it should have been over with, and the players were starting to get uneasy. Well when big RJF came and got between them, that was pretty much it, Peveto went behind the bench and cursed to himself for min. then went back about his buisness. Funny b ut also disturbing. Peveto should not have kept going back and hammering on that guy like that in front of the players.

Porter may have to choke a bitch if BDP gets in his grill again.

Although I didn't see it, I definitely agree with this. Coaches need to handle their differences internally, not in front of the world (and their players) to see. Too much potential to cause internal rifts and different sectors and allegiances within the team. Those are trademarks of Saban-coached teams.

Porter wasent hardly saying a thing and it seemed like he was trying to stay away from the situation, but Peveto would just keep running back to him and putting his finger in his face and letting him have it, verbaly.

Here we go with the senseless bashing of Saban again.

Or was it a different punt?

Well, that sums up our performance. That should never be a statement when LSU plays NTSU.

It's no secret the LSU locker room in 2004 was an internal time bomb waiting to go off.

I'd always heard that Saban was a Teddy Bear in the locker room.

It was during an LSU punt return. One coach (Peveto?) was waving for what looked like a punt safe on 4th and 1. The other coach (Porter?) sent out the punt return team or at least the returner. The argument ensued after that. Les Miles stepped in to calm them down, but when he went up the field for the offensive possession, the coaches went back at it. Then a player (RFJ?) stepped in the middle and the coaches stopped.

I was about 40 rows up, but I had a pretty good view of it and was laughing with the guy behind me.

I was in Sec 103 and saw it too. Peveto was the aggressor. He just keep going after Porter but sure as hell backed off when RJF stepped in and then Miles showed up and appeared to say something to Peveto.

Peveto looked liked a total jackass! And it's sad that a player had to control the incident before Les arrived.

Scott, and Ridley participate on punts. One of them probably got called out by Peveto, and Porter probably felt the urge to defend "his" player.

Peveto isn't the ST coordinator anymore. Joe Robinson is the ST coordinator.

It would be sad if he hadn't stepped in. I respect RJF more for not just stepping back and watching shite escalate. You know you wish you could have seen two of your teachers fight

Oh I agree with you. There were other players around too. Most of them had the "deer in the headlight" look. I'm sure they couldn't believe what was going on. With that said, RJF stood up and took control. He's a leader! And everyone saw that!

I think Peveto has a history of this.

If I'm not mistaken, it was he and Moffitt that verbally got into it before Moffitt ruffled his shirt and spit down his throat.

I also saw Shomari Clemons get a pretty good lecture coming off the field after a special teams play, but I was too far away to see who gave it.
