Pretty harsh phrasing, imo. Sure, LSU looked lost today, but Auburn had some voodoo sprinkled on their three point shots today...nothing you can do to stop that. Losing, even losing big, to a 18-2 team on road is not embarrassing.

Funny he would say that because I was embarrassed because of what he said to Auburn Head Coach before the game.

I wasnt paying super close attention, but i think Wade was referring to Auburn winning the SEC

Wade Wade was a fantastic hire. We couldn't have done much better. He will take this program to another level.
But WW is getting a pass here. He is the one who is ultimately responsible for his team's effort, particularly on defense. Defense is about discipline and desire. If the starters won't get opponents' faces, then bring in the reserves who will. If the 14th guy on the bench won't give the effort on defense, then go find some guys in the student body who will. It's ridiculous for an opposing team to have that many open shots. It's on WW just as much as the players. He should be embarrassed that he let those guys play like that.

He didn’t mince words, but he shouldn’t have. This team needs to learn that anything less than maximum effort is unacceptable. Although it’s pretty bad if he’s saying this kind of stuff in the media. Usually that kind of motivation is a last resort.

That’s exactly what he was saying. Said, “y’all are winning it,” meaning Auburn will win the SEC. He wasn’t referring to the game.
