He absolutely should be fired. I expected he would come out and apologize to his players and fanbase....instead he doubled down. Wow. He will come to his senses, but I don't think that's who you want leading your program.

And he confirmed he was warned. Proceeds to say all everyone will talk about this game is the ejection. No. After today, all they will talk about is LSU’s 8th title. It’s not all about him.

I think he figured that since it was a championship game, the ump would give him a little more rope to get his point in, and the ump decided that the regular rules of baseball would apply.
