Why would anybody downvote this thread? I swear, some of you LSU "fans" are ridiculous. So much negativity from the anti-O part of our fanbase.

The downvotes are in no way a statement of desire for the team to suck. No one wants the team - and therefore O - to fail. Much more likely the downvotes are that people are tired of this type of thread, and doubtful - which is not the same as wanting to fail - that the O tenure will bring an SEC championship. I hope O wins 5 in a row. I don't think he will win 1. That's not negative, it's an objective opinion based on taking in all that I've seen.

Well, if he starts comparing O bashers to democrats that'll be a huge clue.

I'm on the OTrain. Don't see a legit reason not to be.
Sometimes it takes a serious humbling (Troy) to make the overall team better than the individual parts. I see the players buying in to O and the staff and that, alone, is a gold mine.

I'm casting a very wary eye that isn't required every year. Ok, fine... if it took that and was a one time thing and it that has lasting effect over seasons, many seasons.

But if we have to, or do have, a serious humbling every year I'll be one pissed off individual.

And yes, time will tell. That's why it's a wary eye and not pitchforks (for me anyway) just yet. What followed that was somewhat impressive. Not spectacular in a down SEC by any means, but hey I give him credit for reversing that trend. But repeats of the prior trend aren't acceptable.

We are 9-3 in a season that we weren't a real contender for a title

we could have been but we had 2 historically bad losses to vastly inferior teams.

Here are the teams we beat this year....

Chattanooga- 8 losses
byu- 9 losses
Syracuse-8 losses
Florida- 7 losses
tenn- 8 losses
a&m -5 losses
ole miss-6 losses
arkansas- 8 losses
auburn-3 losses

Ed orgeron and staff did a good job,

holy shite. so now its considered a " good job" when we lose to vastly inferior teams?
i just knew there was going to be excuses made for this staff abiut results that wouldve had this board melting if the last staff had done it.

during the last regime this board melted of sec wins that were deemed TOO CLOSE.
now this regime has the worst loss in lsu msu history and the 1st ooc home loss since 2000 AND YOU SAY ITS A GOOD JOB?

Jimbo went 6-6 this season at fsu, Herman is about the same at texas. Wr are in a better bowl than both of the
has nothing to do with lsu.

herman took over a program tbat hadnt been .500 in 3 years and FSU lost their qb. ask saban, jimbo, muschamp about losing your starting qb in 2002.

thats all they have. if you arent a blind follower of a coach with a horrible coaching record, then you must want lsu to lose.

if O continues winning everyone will come to the table.

Dude you have some very serious issues. Not a flame, but a fact. Since you like facts. You never stop, 24/7 bashing O. It is sickening and sad that chicken allows you to continue to spew your negative bs on a supposed Lsu site.

bashing O?

its amazing how many posters dont understand the difference between facts and bashing/supporting.

im sorry facts about ed orgeron's head coaching resume upset you.

thats because tigerdroppings doesnt ban posters for posting facts.

ive never called O a shite coach.
ive never attacked his character.
ive never made a personal attack against O.

all ive ever done is state facts. deal with it boy.

FACTS
only once in his career has O won more than 2 conf games.
in 12 games O has already had the worst loss in lsu msu history.
in 12 games he already has the 1st ooc loss at home in 16 years.
2005,2006,2007,2008,2010,2011,2012,2013,&2015 all had ahigher ppg than 2017
we havent led against bama FOR A SINGLE SECOND IN 2 YEARS.

its amazing how anyone can consider this past season as success considering we played 1 damn team with less than 3 losses.

when O proves he can win consistently then everyone will come back to the table
you know youd be shitting all over the last regime if they had had this tyoe of season.

Ive also given O props when deserved.
the auburn win was good and the juco recruits are a good sign.

I wish people would stop either jerking him off or bashing the hell out of him.. Just ride the course and if we do well, enjoy it.. If not, then the process will play out..

I disagree. There are definitely some posters that bring up realistic and valid concerns that actually want to engage in a discussion. But there are many posters whose only contributions to the forum are negative and repetitive bullshite. They've got their minds made up and it seems like they would rather this coach fail than admit the possibility they might be wrong about him or ever acknowledge anything positive since he's been the coach. These people are straight up haters and are never interested (seemingly) in participating in an intelligent discussion.

to be fair, this is true of both miles and O. and to a way lesser extent with Saban. many people hated his demeanor.

but youre right about some being unable to give credit. for example the thread earlier about the great juco commits had people shitting on it.
i couldn't fathom cheering for lsu to lose just so my opinion would be right.

but there are also instances where posting about O's accomplishments or resume get you labeled an O basher.
