Being mad at the time, given how much it felt we all NEEDED that win was one thing, but to still be angry about it in 2017 is fricking insane.

Yes it is. I have always been amazed at the people that turned on Miles due to that game. His second fricking game of his time at LSU and the second game to be affected by the storms.

And the ones that wanted him fired after the 2011 National Championship Game. Unbelievable!

He won title with a 2 loss team in a bizarre finish to a crazy season.

I really do enjoy that there are still LSU fans saying this, out loud and with a straight face, as if it's some derogatory statement about Miles.

That 2007 team was #1 2 separate times that year and without question deserved the #2 spot in the BCS game after the way things played out on championship weekend. Their inclusion with 2 losses that season no more tarnishes their result anymore so than suggesting that Saban's first SEC title here, won on the back of a 5-3 SEC record (which only happened thanks to 9-11 staving off the AU game until later in the year after we finally allowed Rohan to open it up and start throwing to Josh Reed with abandon) is illegitimate.

And last I checked, no one ever suggests that 2001 team ought to hold their heads in shame for backing into the SEC title game with their three shitty SEC losses that season.
