So why don't people jump Corey Raymond? Is it possible that he is a man-to-man coach, because he cannot coach zone? If so, he should learn just like the head coach should learn.

Because all these tools see is recruiting and pay no attention to anything else. Period.

They think this guy would be head coach material. What a joke.

You're just repeating stupidity from this board.

The downvote king of tRant criticizing its intellectual level is pretty ironic.

Not with LSU near last place on defense. Unless there’s another university out there like LSU that’s willing to hire a good recruiter for a head coach.

Trying to blame a guy who's been nothing but successful at LSU is retarded.

He was covered by Bausch the previous years because Aranda couldn’t trust him to teach those concepts to his players. Keep smokin and you’ll end up with the rest of them.

The DC who coached LBers last year had shitty LBs.

You know what’s hilarious? PELINI WAS A DB and DB COACH MOST OF HIS CAREER. RAYMOND coached under Bo at Nebraska which is WHY he trusted him with that entire group to execute his plan. He had to focus on that group towards the back end to cover for Raymond. The LBs were at fault due to ORGERON SWITCHING TO 4-3. It is simple.
You’re a fricking idiot.

“LSU secondary is continuing to work on coverage busts.”
GOAT DB Coach Corey Raymond and Daronte "Not one NFL or College team was after me to be their DC" Jones are workin hard to fix the problem.

Why didn't CR fix any of the dysfunction last season and why is it still happening this season?

Why hasn't NFL DB coach DJ fixed it?

Occam's Razor.

insert Lb unit one week, next week Oline, next week secondary etc... Its always something. Would be nice by the 5th or 6th game of the year we would have most of this fixed but i'm sure we will still be hearing at week 10. I think O hiring and firing coaches every year is not helping. You would think that with Raymond being the only coach that has remained that secondary would not be an issue but here we are.

Some fans say it’s because O changed schemes after Aranda left. You remember Aranda, the guy that O had trashed his defensive schemes after he left for a head coaching job.

Why are you exempting Corey Raymond...sue Jones can shoulder some of the blame, but Raymond actually coaches this unit.

“Stingley status remains uncertain”, unknown whether surgery or rehab is required on his foot. The Stingley’s will be visiting a doctor this week seeking a second opinion. In the paper Coach O noted that Dwight McGlithern has performed well in Stingley’s absence, but as a secondary “we need to eliminate mental errors that are causing touchdowns. We’re still having those.”

Sounds like he is done with college football.. that's fine but can we please get Lavar Ball Stingley off local sports radio so we can move on and heal.
