I'm not an O guy, but he did have that team humming last season as interim

No he didn't. We looked like hammered dog shite against anyone with a pulse outside of Louisville

But to be honest, we looked worse than hammered dog shite against all teams with Miles last year. We didn't even look good against Jacksonville St. with Miles. We had four completely flat games and lost to an eventual 8-5 Auburn team. Surprisingly, under O, that was the first time in over 2 decades that we beat Ole Miss by more than 7 points in Tiger Stadium (we blew them out), we scored 50 on aTm for the first time in series history, and after scoring 14 points total in the previous two years combined against Arkansas, we won by 28 points and beat them worse than we had in over a decade. I didn't think O deserved LSU job and didn't want him as the head coach, but I have to give him credit where it's due. We looked about 100x better against Ole Miss, Arkansas and aTm than we had in recent games (and 2 of them blew us out the previous year).

huh? saban in 2003 and that is it. That is not a share. that is ONE GAME. UF was better than us in 2000 and 2001. we beat them in 02 and 04.

miles? yeah got lucky in a bunch of those and looked like shite in some also. This you are right about.

With O's attitude, what happens to LSU season ticket holders? He's going to anger many.

It's gonna be interesting. As the pressure increases and the questions heat up, the old O will show up more and more. Can't wait.

Pretty much....but did you expect him to just sit there and let a caller blast him and not fight back? They screened these calls a lot more when Les was there. O taking the heat but he won't take it without fighting back and I like that. I just hope he can get the ship going in the right direction quickly.

There was a way to answer the caller that would make him appear empathetic, thoughtful and confident, taking the high road if you will. He chose to be defensive, probably because the caller struck a nerve and deep down he has doubts in regards to his qualifications.

We won the sec in 2001 and got blown the f out by florida. We were better in 2003. 2 out of 5 games were we did worse than we should have with saban against florida. And of coarse i am not bashing saban, just making the point that florida usually has the athletes on the field to always make it interesting no matter the coach.

Or he could be just tired of taking the shite from piss poor fans that have been waiting for him to fail so they can come out of the woodworks to gloat and take pot shots at the coaches.

Maybe it wasn't the best hire, and maybe he didn't earn the job, but the fact is that he's the coach now and the fans need to realize that he isn't going anywhere for a few years. May as well support the team and hope for the best

Spin it however you want.

I heard him say it and I heard the tone of voice. It was pissy and it was defensive. Not a good look for the face of the program, piss poor fans or no.

Oh, and we're only 5 games into his first season as full time HC. If he can't take a little well-deserved heat now, he's in for a rough time of it.

Simple Ed, you're the head coach at fricking LSU you coon arse clown...act like it. I just don't get it. Wtf is he trying to prove? He knows his team has greatly underperformed, are a huge disappointment, and are a laughing stock this year due to his lack of "coaching" and has nothing better to answer back with to calls like that. You would think he would kinda be humble after getting his arse whipped by troy. So, he answers back with "I earned the job whether you like it or not". Lol, that's some childish bullshite. "I know you are but what am i" type of answer. He better get his head out of his arse or he will earn his way out of this job whether he likes it or not.

A shite loss to Muschamp, I'll give you that. But 2012, suspensions, record number of early entries, injuries.... These weren't excuses to losing to UF that year for Les.

Other than that, he had a winning record and also had to face off with Meyer in the season. More than Saban had to at bama.

Link in the thread to listen was whacked. Can someone tell me what the guy said besides "what makes you think you're qualified to fix this?"

and very lucky in 2010 and again in 2014. if you watched both games you know why. Lee overcame a crap JJ performance and the fake kick which we barely got away with in 2010, then the UF receiver dropped the TD pass that woulda sealed it in 2014 prior to UF throwing that pick and us nailing a long FG to win it. Uf basically gave us that game if you watched the whole thing.

That's a loser mentality. We may have some slight issues with a few positions. But we are still more talented than everyone not named Bama. On the same level as auburn at the moment.

Les went 7-4 against Florida. That's about as good as you can ask for against a program like UF.

LSU only faced two decent teams and lost both at home under O

That should have been a sign.. coach O is so lucky, he takes over two very talented teams in USC and LSU and they simply played up to their talent a little, yet he still dropped 4 games in just two seasons as an interim.. and he got all this credit. Think about that.,

The SEC was very down last year and we took advantage. It’s worse this season and we may only win 1 sec game. He’s awful.
