I kind of feel like he won't be here much longer.

Usually the players that are social media obsessed or otherwise distracted don’t make it here long term.

This is a bit of a surprise no? I was expecting Bradford to be the guy.

This was my thought too...the passive aggressive retweets about O felt more like a temper tantrum over playing time.

Would a shame to lose Kardell. Huge potential

Kardell is nowhere near good enough to be running his mouth the way he has. I think he might have been ranked a good bit higher than he should have been with the level of talent he faced off against in high school. He got by on just being the biggest kid on the field but now he’s got to be as fast as he is strong. I’m rooting for him and I hope he turns it around into a solid starting G for LSU but right now he seems 3rd string at best for the RG spot and O himself said today he loves his incoming freshmen on the OL.

Even very talented players can do more harm than good.

The surprise is Liam moving up so quickly to be the starting center. Hines always had the potential to be a monster of a RG. He was a top 5 OG recruit before he told everyone he wanted to play defense in college.

Kardell is going to be in a great place to start in 2021. Look at Chasen Hines, played as a true freshman and didn’t get much since that Auburn game in 2018.

Centers have to be the smartest guy on the line to call out the defense, thankfully LSU found one talented enough with a Harvard degree who’s getting a masters in football.

Having Liam take over at center was the ideal scenario. It allows Hines to play RG, his natural position. Between Hines and Ingram, LSU has some serious maulers at OG. Bradford and Thomas behind them also gives LSU fantastic depth.

Dare Rosenthal was also a 5* OT recruit before he insisted that he wanted to play DE.
I see people downplaying these guys "because they were shifted from defense" who don't know that they were dominant offensive line prospects in high school.
Both Hines and Rosenthal are extremely promising on the offensive line in my opinion.

Extreme views (left or right) are poorly received in locker rooms. He's still a kid, but he better learn quickly that he needs to leave that bs off twatter.

My only worry is Rosenthal at left tackle. Deculus is the best on the line most likely and he got joe CREAMED a few plays (twice vs bama) so rosenthal has to be a beast for us. I dont want brennan to end up like floppy franks.
