You’re right the Troy loss shouldn’t be the answer to every positive 0 comment but comparing him to Saban and touting what used to be the norm at LSU just kills your point. Saban has won titles, a lot of em, so the ULM loss doesn’t matter, 0 hasn’t finished higher than 3rd in the division making that analogy ridiculous. And a 10-3 record and top 10 recruiting class was the average for Miles for over a decade. In fact recruiting has declined under 0 so acting like that’s special also weakens your point. Yes 10-3 is a good season and a top 10 class, likely top 5 is good but it’s really just getting back to our old average they’re not these great accomplishments. Hopefully things improve and some of our fans can stop lowering the bar just to prop this guy up.

Lmao oh yea I forgot you don’t do well with reality either. You claim Troy is more talented than LSU, you think the BCS is still a thing and you claim Mike Leach quit running the “air raid” offense despite Leach himself saying otherwise. You’re a complete sociopath who’s not an LSU fan but an 0 sycophant only.
Or.. they are ...

Hate to think where we would be if LM was still here.
The decision to go get a QB was epic.
Miles left us with three QB’s that couldn’t beat out a second stringer from the Big 10.
Going out and getting a kicker....same. His decisions and moves to fix big problems can’t seriously be argued with because the results speak for themselves.

Yes all of the Alabama Elephant fans and supporters seem to forget that ole Nicky did in fact loose to ULM!

“ tell someone this in person”
You take this stuff way too serious. I didn’t say anything in that post which would upset any reasonable person.

Oh I’m not saying it would upset people. I am saying that anyone with knowledge of the program would make you look like an absolute fool with just a few simple questions you couldn’t ignore or twist face to face. Stuff you wouldn’t be able to say with a straight face

Top 10 or so program all time is not "just above average."
Exactly.
Some posters actually know very little about how football works. They look at this Bama run and think we should be able to do it, when in reality, it’s really never been done before.
LSU is an all time great program. Anyone who thinks it is an all time, barely above average program is ignorant.

I think it's time that some of you let the Troy thing go. Everyone knows Saban lost to LA Monroe and it didn't matter. I'm not saying Coach O is Saban obviously but it's time to let that go.

We'll see this year. No more excuses.
I've been advocating for some time that the 2019 season will be the make or break for Orgeron.
The only thing that he hasn't done is beat Bama and win the West.
Those are the next steps in the process. Orgeron was hired with a short leash. His contract was literally built to put up or shut up. That said, he has done well so far. Now, beat Bama...

Two totally different events. The Troy loss will always be symbolic of what the O era is. He meddled with an offense and had to have the AD tell him not to do it again. Its representative of him setting Canada up for failure from the get go to put his buddy, Ensminger back in power just to have an offense that regressed in 2018. It was the exposure of what was really going on and why hes had the team for 3 seasons now and still no runs for the SEC... he hasn't changed.
The only difference is the propaganda making people want to believe otherwise... all based on subjectivity and no fact.
ETA. Did he get that contract extension that the media was pushing as inevitability?

What about losing to two first year coaches (UF and aTm) after the narrative was that coach O “needed more time” to fix the mess Less left him? Is that a good look?

Buyout in December 2019 is a far cry from the $12 million he would have been owed if he had been fired after the first ever loss to a Sun Belt team.
Assuming of course LSU doesn’t extend Orgeron for 19-7 and a win over an AAC team.

For context, he "meddled" after this:
LSU destroyed by Miss St 37-7
Per Orgeron's presser he asked Canada to cut back on SOME of the motions and shifts due to penalties and confusion. He also stated they were starting 2 new freshmen on the OL so he wanted to give them time to get comfortable. He said Canada still was allowed to implement his gameplan and call the plays.
I know everyone gets so hung up on this meddling narrative, but there's a difference in having some input and dictating gameplan. For all we know, Canada got pissed and said screw it and cut the gameplan to the bone as a screw you to O and then ran to daddy Alleva and said look what O did.

37-7 loss to miss st, aka the game where LSU went up 7-0 in the first 4 minutes, had the TD called back.
And folded like a cheap tent right then and there because the coaches couldn’t rally the players to deal with a bad call.
It’s cool happens all the time. Look at the saints 8 days ago.
