“ make you look like an absolute fool”
Most Grown-ups don’t normally try to make others look like an absolute fool in discussions face to face. And most reasonable people understand that it’s OK to have a difference of opinion’s. I try to limit my involvement with people who want to make everything a dick measuring contest. So, I’m pretty safe from having that happen.

37-7 loss to miss st, aka the game where LSU went up 7-0 in the first 4 minutes, had the TD called back. And folded like a cheap tent right then and there because the coaches couldn’t rally the players to deal with a bad call. It’s cool happens all the time. Look at the saints 8 days ago.
LSU's first 3 games of 2017 they had 30 penalties for 272 yards. We were the most penalized team in all of CFB.
Etling said after the State game that the WRs ran the wrong routes and they were not on the same page. We had missed blocking assignments, WR's running bad routes, the QB was confused and 9 penalties for 112yds.

Get a good name for DL coach I then I will agree.

I think it's time that some of you let the Troy thing go.
Especially considering they've won 10+ games each of the last 3 seasons, including wins over LSU, Nebraska, and a 6-point loss at #2 Clemson.
They have more skins on the wall over the last 3 years than half of the SEC.

What was ambiguous about what he said?
He's saying the performance of the team could have a bearing on whether or not the head coach is the head coach going forward. I happen to disagree because as long as Alleva's there, he'll be there.

Jut wondering what number it would take in his mind to make changes
Pretty sure you knew that’s what I was referring to.

The Troy loss will always be symbolic of what the O era is
Which is weird, because the MSU loss was way worse in almost every way.
That's the loss you people should be stuck upon.

Mississippi State is an SEC team and a power five program. Troy plays in one of the weakest conferences in college football and is not a power five program. Losing to Troy was much worse than losing to a SEC West team.
We know you think Troy was more talented than LSU,
LSU football should NEVER lose to a SBC team and we wouldn't have if not for O interfering in the offense.

MSU destroyed us in every phase of the game. Both offense and defense were lost and absolutely terrible
Players quit by the 4th quarter.
It had been since 2008 vs Florida that I had seen an LSU team quit like that. The defense never gave up vs Troy, they just got manhandled.

It's not a matter of what was worse. It's what got us to the Troy game. That Miss St game exposed multiple problems from the offense being out of synch to the struggles defensively with new starters. Aranda stated that 2017 was the most difficult job as DC he's ever had. The players were there, but they had not settled in yet. Even in the Troy game the D struggled giving up 190yds rushing to Troy RB Chunn. After that Aranda was able to right the ship and the D finished strong the rest of the season.

Correct
The problems in the MSU game didn't manifest again the rest of the season. The Troy game was just a huge wake up call.
I trust Aranda to fix things which is why I can't wait to play A&M again.

No one ever denied that. Mississippi State also took a lead into the forth quarter against Alabama in 2017.
Nothing you posted disputes losing to Troy to be worse.

Coach O Is Crushing It
He's not crushing anything. The entire difference between 2015 and 2018 was that LSU played their FCS opponent in 2018. He has yet to do anything on the field that was better than what we had a couple of years ago.
The recruiting is what was expected, but we still need more DL and OL.
Right now the OL coach is a wait and see (but it doesn't look good so far), the WR coach has done nothing impressive, the RB coach did what he was supposed to do and recruit Louisiana RBs (we literally haven't had a high ranked RB recruit out of state since Spencer Ware back in 2010), the DL coach has done nothing impressive, S/T kick returns improved to below average (S/T coaches don't really coach placekickers so I can't give him that) and Ensminger has failed to have LSU look any better offensively.
Crushing it would be finishing this recruiting year out strong and then going at least 11-1 next year. Crushing it would be developing one of the QBs we have gotten from high school and Burrow into great QBs. Crushing it would be getting DJ Uiagalelei to come here (I like Finley and Max Johnson looks good, but so did Myles Brennan and Brandon Harris among others). DJ is a whole other breed. He's a guy that could play well for you almost Immediately. Crushing it would be all his hires being a great success, so far they are either up in the air or below average outside of Busch. Hiring the same coach (Busch) that coached under Aranda at Utah St and Wisconsin was a no brainer and easily was majorly influenced by Aranda.
Y'all have got to stop patting this man on the back, placing up banners, planting flags, and throwing parties for every little thing Ed does.

Nice subtle backhanded compliment that you think the A&M game is on Arandas shoulders.

Careful, the O fanboys will be coming after you.
In O's head coaching career, he crushed it. For LSU, not so much.

but its pretty much the same as the progrAm under miles
In a lot of ways...but the "vibe" surrounding the program is different.
When Miles was finally leaving...we were trending down and there appeared to be no hope. He was set in his ways and it was obvious there would be no changes made in the O.
I think O is capable of evolving if things go caca fast on the offensive side of the ball BUT hiring CSE is O's cross to bear and if it doesn't work out/improve next year....then we need to move away from O altogether.

I trust Team doctors and time to fix the problems with the A&M game.also I think O fixed some of those issues with a big injection of CBs in this class.
I also Can’t wait to play them again.

No disagree. O bought himself sometime with a 10 win season this year....he aint going anywhere now but he still needs to fire that geezer CSE.
