If it wasnt the standard, Les Miles would still be head coach and Ed Orgeron would still be a DL coach plotting with ponamsky down at the station.

If it’s the standard we only had 3 good seasons under miles...the first 2 wins against bama they sucked

That's true, Goldrush25, and thank you for pointing that out. I would venture to say that not 1 single person here hates O. A poster claims "O Is Crushing It," and those who disagree are taking a bashing. Fact is O is NOT crushing it. He may crush it next season. He may not. He certainly has a good chance IF he changes HIS MENTALITY on offense. But why vilify those of us who are still unsure?

Cause you think all 10-3’s & all 5-3’s are equal and if you want to be lumped into that group with Sammy & voodoo & goldrush then so be it

I do dukke, but my issues pale in comparison to your issues.

One of which is your lack of understanding how the rant works along with your total lack of reading comprehension and awareness.

You see dukke, if you had paid attention to my post, you would have noticed that I was repeating what another poster had said.

But that's ok buddy. We've all come to expect posts from you that make no sense and are full of nonsense.

Bama beat the '02 team 31-0.
Miles won 5 vs bama and took them to OT a couple times among other games lost by single digits.
How far away from that standard is it now?

Ahhh. So the standard is now vs Bama

Yet you conveniently leave out that Bama wasn't crap until 2008, didn't win the conference until 2009.
Even when we beat em in 2010 they finished 10-3

The 9-6 game was legit though

Not saying O is a great one, but the "he lost to insert-crappy-team" argument is garbage. Many really good coaches had bad losses while instilling their culture/program. Saban at multiple places, Bowden lost to Memphis State his first year, Scott Frost just lost to Troy too and you don't see Husker fans screaming for his head.

Oh No, Lester's threatened to lump me into a group of posters.

Good God you really think a lot of yourself.

You can't be for real.

you think the AD grew tired of Miles losing 3 games, and not who & how he actually lost them?? Bwhahahaha

What are you attempting to suggest here?

I hope it's not that there's something more important to a HC's job security than his win & loss record.

Not my post, but the road to the SEC Title goes through there and has for quite some time.

There’s nothing more important than the context of the wins & losses.

I am suggesting that in 2015, had les Miles lost 3 games in the manner than the 2018 team did, and not getting his doors blown off by Ark & ole miss,he’d still be the coach.

I hope y’all don’t say this shite to other people in real life,

Oh I have. Bama was a mess Mikes first three years and didn't start consistently dominating again until 2011.

So what? You think a DL coach can't see if the OLman aren't the right players? He also had assistants that were probably telling him these guys will not get it done and we need a change here.

You O haters crack me the frick up. Y'all have no fricking clue what a good coach looks like and does for a team. This team is soooo much better off with O then it was with Miles dumbass. Miles didn't pay attention to shite. He was the most submissive coach I've ever seen in my life at the college level and really the compete opposite of what Saban was. He was a lucky coach who lucked his way to that record bc those games could have easily went another way on so many occasions.

Here only two seasons that he dominated was 2007 and 2011. The rest could have been 10-2 or 8-4 just as easily.
