You think Miles was fired based solely on a 9 game stretch?
Had he won any of those games, he may have saved his job.
However it's not the sole reason. The anemic passing game was a huge part. Of course it contributed to the losses.

You dont understand how pathetic this makes you look. You think someone gets dignity or a sense of self worth on a sports message board where no one actually knows you. That lets everyone know that irl, you have no dignity or sefl worth because you think it comes from TD.
These last few years have exposed you as a supreme idiot that doesnt understand basic things in life like dignity and self worth.
Lying to someone actually makes your sense of self worth go down but you think it increases it.
You really are simple and i feel sorry for anyone that actually knows you in real life.

That's not what I asked. What I asked is "do you think Miles was fired based solely on a 9 game stretch"?

So that 9 game stretch was not the exact reason. It was just a factor.
This I agree with.

But he never had a losing season
He MOSTLY had 10+ win seasons.
Never won less than 8 games and only did that twice in 11 years.
Generally he was a good coach.
Just not good enough at the end.
And he got fired because we have very high standard to live up to.
And that’s a good thing

If miles had won 11 or 12 games in 2012,2013,2014 is he fired for losing 5 of 9 after winning 7 in row in 2015?
Please say yes he is still fired so everyone can once again laugh at you again

It was apparent in the three loss stretch of 2015 that something was terribly wrong. Reiterated in the Wisconsin game of 2016.
Miles was a great coach. But coming off an 8-5 year, losing three in a row in 2015, losing 2 of 4 in 2016 with a terrible passing attack is a sign of dysfunction.

Only posters that love O more than lsu think Miles was fired for anything besides his yearly win loss numbers. They do that so they can still tout O's seasons when he loses 3 or 4 games a year.

But o losing 4 and 3 games with worse offensive production gives you hope.
The hypocrisy is astounding and the lack of self awareness to see your own hypocrisy isnt shocking.

I certainly think the losses were the biggest factor.
Had we pulled off the Wisconsin game, I have no doubt he would still be here.

And hopefully Pettigrew will be weapon as well in the redzone. He looks like a matchup nightmare anywhere on the field and I'm really interested to see if we get him involved.
I can see Pettigrew being the breakout player of 2019. He looked really good in the spring before going down with his injury. Brady knows how the Saints were able to get production out of some very average TEs and if we can get somewhat decent pass protection Pettigrew could be a real weapon.

So you think Miles is still the coach at LSU if he's still losing 3-4 games every year as long as the offense throwing for 4,000 yards and 40 TDs?

To be fair...
We threw 13/17 TDS vs 4 teams. That’s 4 TD in 9 other games We thre 45% of our yards in 4 games. ..
We didnt throw td pass for a month.
You're forgetting that Burrow contributed to the rushing game.
Burrow - 3293 yards of offense (2894 passing 399 rushing) and 23 TD's (16 passing, 7 rushing)
Mett - 2949 yards of offense (3082 passing, minus 133 rushing) and 22 TDs passing , zero rushing

If miles wins 11 games in 2010,2011,2012,2013,& 2014 is he still fired for the 5 of 9?
This should be good

Cool.
Just think if he had even an average OC what he would put up.

With the offensive talent we have this year, absolutely.

So for the second time, this isn't what I asked.
What I asked is "do you think Miles is still the coach at LSU if he's still losing 3-4 games every year as long as the offense throwing for 4,000 yards and 40 TDs"?
How about you actually answer the questions instead of taking part of the post out of context and going in a completely different direction?

Yes
