It wouldn't surprise me one bit. I've complimented Miles before with nothing but best intentions and crediting his accomplishments and been downvoted. People are crazy around here sometimes.

dude calm down, theres nothing wrong with being lucky. We were somewhat lucky to be in a situation that allowed us the opportunity to go after Joe Burrow. Why didnt he go to Alabama? Or Clemson? Or Oklahoma? Because those schools had talented QBs there and were not looking for a transfer.

Coach O saw our weakness and by the grace of God, Joe got beat out at Ohio St and chose LSU over Cincy. Credit Coach O for Landing him but O was also lucky to be in position to even go after him.

Not everything has to be viewed as a negative..

I'll be honest

I am 100% satisfied with this offense, and I am 100% believing in this team.

But I think we need to be honest about who is responsible for this, and what really happened prior to the Brady hire.

I love LSU. I hate watching us lose any game, and i think we could have made changes in 2017 and 2018 that would have lost us less games.

And it is easy to say "alls well that ends well", but when people actually start discussing last year's offense like anything besides a flop, I think that revisionist history. And i enjoy arguing over it.

Not even remotely close to some "dumb luck narrative." Everything he said is 100% correct. LSU and Orgeron are lucky that Burrow was available and Orgeron and Ensminger did an incredible job recruiting him. That's what was said and nothing close to what you're accusing.

I don't know about a flop. We did win a NY6 bowl and finished as a top 10 team. Definitely could have won a couple more games, but far from a flop.

I will refine my comment to last years offense

IT was bad most of the time.

7 OT vs. A&M, and our FG really put lipstick on the pig. We couldn't score TDs.

The field goal kicker almost seemed like a crutch sometimes as it looked like we were playing for FGs instead of attacking the endzone. It was maddening.

#6 final AP ranking is "a flop"? No. It is not.

C'mon man... you're acting like LSU wins a Natty every season. How many has LSU actually had since the 1800's? Like 10 or 15 max?

Man you old fricks are hilarious.

Look.

Our offense improved. O, E, and Brady all deserve credit along with every other coach we have on that side of the ball.

That’s it. It’s that simple. What the frick are you guys bickering like children for. LSU football is doing amazing and you frickers just have to find something to bitch about CONSTANTLY.

It’s unreal.

1. I really meant the offense was flop. and it was. Joe Burrow is better than 2800 yards and 16 tds.

2. Its nice to finish in the top 10, but when it comes down to things we control, we went 10-3, and that is not uncommon.

Those are your words. No one said dumb luck.

I don't know why luck has such a bad connotation. Most that have done well in life have benefited from luck.

We still scored more than every other West team, outside of Alabama, after EXCLUDING overtimes. That's not a flop when I'm not sure if you had one single touchdown in production returning from the previous year on offense. Combined with youth, new coaches, new qb. You aren't being objective at all.

1. that isn't true

2. What great West Div. offenses were we outscoring? Akransas? Miss State? Auburn? Just because they were worse doesn't make us good

3. People who only point out our limitations, forget we did nothing to help them.

Injured OL? Lets run slow developing plays and ask them to block for 6 seconds. Also lets not spread the field out.

New QB? Lets put him under center for the first time since middle school. That will work.

It is true. We finished 6th in the nation with that flop and the offense came on strong at the end of the season. Not going to argue with you. You aren't objective and think you know it all. That's pretty clear.

There's no substance to the O-Bashers arguments anymore. Seems they are doing it out of habit. lol

Objectively we didn't score more points than half the western division.

That is objectively a false statement.

WE finished 6th and thats great, but that doesn't mean our offense was good.

We finished 8th in 2010, won MORE games and had a terrible offense.

It’s pointless really. The goalposts will continue to move. Apparently we should’ve won the NC last year and Danny Etling should have been doing what Burrow is now.

We didn’t cuz O. We are now cuz Brady. O threw shite against the wall and got lucky. Burrow fell in his lap.

Never change negas lol.
