I'm pretty sure we all agree with this. It didn't need to be this good though to have been much better and far less frustrating than it was last year.

well considering that is what I was talking about when I made my comment yes

not disputing we wouldn't have been. My point is JB had a year of starts (he had less than 30 pass attempts at OSU), has had a whole season and spring and fall camp to work with his wrs, an oline that has more experience and better stable of rbs...I think that allows for Brady to be more successful than had he come in last year.

I'm really blaming E

We are now cuz Brady.

This is mostly true though. Have none of you ever done an expereiment? the biggest variable is Brady. And the results are drastically different. That leads anyone with an analytical mind to realize what made this changes.

O threw shite against the wall and got lucky.

he didn't jsut throw shite against the wall, but it took him 3 tries to get it right. If you are gong to be a CEO style coach you gotta have a better success rate with those hires.

Burrow fell in his lap.

We were lucky he was available, but O deserved credit for recruiting him and convincing him to come here.

Brady wouldn't look like he does now if he had come in last year. I know you think it doesn't take a year to change an offense, not sure what makes you think it's an easy transition form one style to another, but we definitely were transitioning from the style we were use to towards a better passing game prior to Brady's arrival.

I mean Burrow himself said that he would've thought you were crazy if at this time last year someone would've said the offense this year would be this good. The big difference he said started when Brady showed up.

This is what you guys do though, systematically try to take credit away from really talented coaches like Brady and Aranda.

You have anointed Brady as the best OC in the land after 6 games how about giving some credit to our players for executing what plays are being called. I guess you think if Brady was hired at a team with little or no talent they would still be putting up the stats LSU is though right?

Maybe not you, but if you're interested you can go back and look in this thread alone and see most of what I've been addressing has been this exact issue. Our new buddy Reasonable has been front and center with this take...

I love Brady and want him to be given OC job/or at least money to stay until E steps down

I don't know these posters history, but the fact they keep putting down last year, a top 6 finish, tells me that they aren't likely O fans. It is pretty easy to see.

There it is. A discussion about who is the most responsible for the offensive improvement this year, Ensminger or Brady, turns into O bashing.

My take is that the system Brady brought over from the saints has been huge. My take is also that both E and Brady deserve a lot of the credit. My take also is that none of you know who the better OC is. You can try and spin it all you want.

Well were they O fans? Prior to the last few weeks? I could be wrong. What I didn't say was anything about bashing.

Maybe you are too simple to realize that everyone in this thread is crediting Orgeron because everyone is acknowledging that the offense is better this season. Do the people that are downplaying Brady as the main reason for the turnaround not like Joe Brady? Does that make any sense?

I'm the simple one. Lol. Whatever floats your boat. Btw, I didn't see anyone downplaying Brady, but rather giving E some credit for this offense. You know, the actual OC who is calling the plays. But hell, I'm probably too simple.

Yes. If your focus is whether or not people like or dislike Orgeron when we are talking about the reason for the turnaround, that is simple minded. That is totally irrelevant. Orgeron is the man in the conversation regardless because he is the one that hired the coach that has the number 1 offense in the nation no matter if Brady or Ensminger is mainly responsible.

That Brady suggests

from the offense Brady designed.

Everyone acknowledges who is calling. The difference is in who is responsible for the changes that have made us successful. Ensminger has always been able to call plays. It was whether or not he could design and implement a successful offense.

Lmao. That Brady suggests. You guys are hilarious. Comical actually. But, I'm the bad guy for giving E credit too for this offense. Btw, the person most responsible for the success is burrow. Hope that fact doesnt upset you.
