you guys do realize that the defense under Aranda got worse every year he was here right? (that is why he was fired) These stats are not hard to find. I know a certain group of man lovers here that are enamored with Aranda but the facts are the facts. BO may not be the guy for LSU but I do remember him coming in the first time and it took a year but he put a strong D on the field. Mabe just give him one more year.

He literally saved O's job in 2016 and 2017 guy. On top of helping us win a national championship last season.

Aranda was a good coach, but Orgeron was just the interim coach in 2016, so he didn't save anything. Orgeron canned Cam Cameron and that made the biggest difference as LSU was actually able to score a lot of points against teams like Ole Miss and Arkansas who had started to kick our arse under Miles.

In 2017, we got blown out early in the season by State 37-7 and they almost ran for 300 yards against LSU. That combined with a bad offensive and defensive performance against Troy had O on the ropes. But then LSU turned around the whole season. Aranda was a steady coach at a time of a lot of uncertainty though and his D stepped up toward the end of the year when it needed to to help win the NC.

This happened and I called out this bs when he did it. He looked petty and but hurt by Aranda leaving.

do you really believe that Aranda left a NC team to go coach Baylor?......Aranda was told he had better go. Again look at the stats by year.

Your response has absolutely nothing to do with what you quoted. Do you have problems with reading comprehension? Critical thought?

Aranda's defenses tended to start off the year slow than improve as the year progressed. Last year's defense played well at the end, but some of those teams were hobbled offensively.

Note: Similar traits as Saints defenses under Dennis Allen.

?? fricked up how? He was supposed to do him from taking a head coaching job?

Talking out the side of his neck. We've heard him having problems with Aranda for a while now for differences in opinion on defense.

What was he supposed to do? Prevent him from taking a HC job?

Never happened. All he said was that the defense would better this yea
which is a slight. How about say i hope this defense can become championship level like last years. That was a dig at aranda

Do you really think Aranda would turn down $4 million per year for the opportunity to advance his career?

When you get a huge pay increase for a next in sequence advancement of your career, it is not because someone forced you out.

Maybe we can lure Aranda back lmao. Baylor is not doing too hot and not everyone needs to be a HC. Throw the house at Aranda to come back lol. He made us LBU. Dude was a genius. All the rantards that claimed he was awful because one poor ole miss game .

could see O being somewhat concerned going into a season where it was clear the offense wouldn't be as explosive or efficient to make up for a defense that took a long time to come together

He should’ve reflected on 2016-18 when that defense was our team’s backbone. Hell it probably got him his job.
