Interpretation: He will not play unless the game turns out to be competitive. That way, we can get other LT's valuation game experience. He is sufficiently healthy to play. If all goes well and LSU pulls away as expected, we'll use the GaSouthern game as a suspension game, masked as a "Just to be safe for additional healing" game.

I agree with this. From all the posts earlier this week that said a coach can pick the game(s) for a suspension. Sounds like it will be counted as a suspension if he doesn’t play. If for some reason he would have to play then that means he will have to sit out some other game this season

You think maybe they agreed to hold him out a certain amount of games, or halfs, or whatever and they will communicate it as a "nagging" injury to keep it on the down low? Not trying to be a conspiracy theorists or anything.
If he missed practice and could go if he had to then to me that says he probably has a small nagging injury.
I believe Vol and think there will be suspensions. I also think those kids are probably practicing right now. Like that huge contingent of kids that practiced before being suspended before the BYU game.
Honestly just hope it’s not Fulton or one of the Olineman. I know it’s not Joe. Outside of those guys we can handle someone being out for a minute.
