"if needed"... wtf does that even mean.. of course he's needed. he's needin to get some solid reps and protect the blindside of QB... come on now. a guy protecting the blindside of the franchise doesnt play "if needed".

Probably means he’ll dress and be ready in case of catastrophe, but will likely not play. Otherwise, why not just say “he’s our starting LT.”

It means he’s got to miss some games and we hope this gets to be one of them, but if Traore and Dare tear their ACLs in the half, we are gonna run him out there so we don’t lose to fricking Georgia Southern. That’s my interpretation.

Do we really need him to play against GSU? I think we get more value by having TB74 at left tackle for this game. If he sucks, put in SC77. (I can’t spell any of their names. Love’em, tho)
