Per Coach O just now during his press conference.

On Brennan -

"Will practice a little today, don't know yet if he's going to play. Only going 25% today, we'll see how he does, probably will be sore. Not putting him in (against Auburn) if he's not 100% ready."

Smart call. Let him take some reps and if he's not 100% give the ball to Finley.

Then he gets two weeks to recover with the open dates before Alabama

Huge deal that rosenthal is not just suspended a few games but INDEFINITELY.

Big difference now we really need to be careful with our starting tackles.

Listening to radio this morning was spot on I think it??. When you rotate out your starters need to ensure that line is swapped out same time as QB and WR etc get swapped out. We need to really balance the chance of injuries and def need the youngns to get some playing time along the line

And yet it's still going to come down to our defense to win this game.

Yep. Even if he knows, he shouldn’t announce it. Make Auburn use time having to prepare for both.

Tbh, if there's still any doubt, he shouldn't play. Give him the week off against Auburn and when combined with the bye week he'll have had over a month to heal up before the Bama game.

Finley at the least gave you confidence he can handle a basic game plan competently so that Myles doesn't have to be rushed back before he's ready.

If he’s going 25 percent today I doubt he’s gonna be 100 percent by game time. Finley is starting and with a solid performance and a win, he will take the job.

Are you suggesting that LSU should, in effect, rotate an ENTIRE second string group in during a tight game...over concern about injury?

Most teams rotate WR's and RB's pretty liberally. LSU's rotation schedule has been a bit more "ridged" than I think is necessary, but it's their call. But rotating the entire OL is absurd.

Can almost guarantee he won’t be playing this weekend per my sources. Smart move by O to keep auburn guessing

Would not shock me if Brennan is out for the season. I hate it for the guy but things like this happens

What is the point in risking his health? This season doesn't mean anything, use your young players to prepare for next year.

The google says an abdomen tear may heal within 3 weeks but a more severe strain may take 6 weeks or longer.

I think you need to seriously consider some major oline substitutions when you trot out your 2/3rd string QB, and 5-8 pecking order WRs and have carter and curry in. I mean yeah swap em out. Don't need wire, deculus, and ingram in when game is in hand and you have your skill dudes out?? So yeah pull em.

not when game is on the line your not going to take out the QB, when the starter comes out to ice the game pull your rarest assets (olineman)

You guys give coach too much credit, you think he is playing 3d chess with his press conferences lol. Additionally Auburn would prepare in a very similar way for either QB.
