Thanks for the kind remarks Scoop. I really love our coach and would not trade him. Lots of ups and downs in a programs history. One minute your riding high, next minute the world spins on its axis. Gotta learn to roll with the punches. Congrats on the win. It was a hrs pill to swallow for our tigers but we will press on!

Good post, Scoop. Don't listen to the Debbie Downers. Some clown two months from his SR prom chose Texas at the last minute so all of the sudden Miles can't coach and we're headed back to the Hallman days.

This year for LSU reminded me a lot of Alabama 2008. It was Sabans second year and everyone thought we may be a pretty good team but nobody thought we had a real chance.
All of a sudden we are 12-0 playing Florida in the SEC CG and we (the fans) began to think it was going to happen. Then we lose to Florida and lose to Utah in the Sugar bowl. So not only did we lose the SEC CG but then we lost the bowl game. We didnt win a single trophy that year and it sucked.
I think LSU will win the NC this year if y'all get good QB play with Mett.

No offense intended, Miles is home. Perhaps those of you who dislike him so much need to appreciate a coach who didn't bolt on our program when his opportunity to go home was available. If he had left in 2007,as I am sure you wished he had, LSU would have been set back at least two years if not more. How would it have looked to recruits if the coach of the National Championship team left for another gig? You probably would have been calling him out for going home and giving up on the Tigers. He can't win with some of you people. There are legitimate gripes with his play calling, but not with his integrity and loyalty. I am quite sure you disagree and that is what makes this board so interesting. At least we all cheer for the same team, I think.

Thank you for the kind words about our coach. He is a nice person. He has a family. He loves our kids. He didn't go to Michigan. We'll trade you. Nick wouldn't have written a letter. He would have been in his office preparing for next spring. Les is writing letters making friends with the Alabama fan base. Perhaps, when Nickie leaves to go elsewhere, your good state will steal Les from us and win another NC.
