You are so very correct! Miles outcoached Saban in November and Sabgan outcoached Miles in January. Very classic games of strategy.

When both games are taken together the overall picture is very different.

Thanks for the post. LSU fans are very fortunate to have Les Miles as HC. It was classy of you to post this. I'm looking forward to seeing the letter when you post it.

I literally teared up a little bit over the loss of your daughter; it broke my heart. Thank you for sharing. God bless and long life to you.

(You replied) And he committed suicide after his first loss, EVER.
Clearly you are unable to grasp the finer points of human discourse without resorting to inane comments to cover your socio-intellectual deficiencies.

That's one of the most geeky, "message boardey" things I've ever read.

To say 13-1 is good enough

To say 13-1, 9-0, SEC title, and reaching BCSCG is to "settle" is saying I can only support/appreaciate a LSU team that wins a title or plays close in a title game...if that's you, knock yourself out.

Frustration/disappointment over the L does not blind me to the fact LSU had a remarkable, elitle season that has only been bettered 3 times in a 100 years of LSU football.

I have moved on from 1-9, am looking forward to spring practice, and seeing what Mett can bring to the table. I have faith that our coaching staff and players will bring LSU another very successful season in 2012.

I know this period to be the very best LSU football has ever known and I very much appreaciate the effort of all the players/coaches....and yes, that's good enough for me.

Good enough" is the philosophy of Too-Lame and others willing to settle. Was it Vince Lombardi who said, "Winning isn't everything - it's the only thing!" To say 13-1 is good enough is to say I accept LSU losing. Or, I accept LSU losing the way we did. No. Not in that otherwise perfect season. So maybe we learn and grow. Better still, maybe *CLM will learn and grow. If not, he'd better be prepared to take some grief from the fanbase. 2012 will tell.

Ho. Lee. shite.

Dude...get a frickin life. I don't mean that as an insult, I mean it as life advice.
