Exactly. One of the most iconic and recognizable uniforms in all of college football for decades but the youngsters want to do away with that. It’s part of the LSU brand.

Yall dont get sick of wearing the exact same uniform every game? Kiffin talks about creating new boxes and I say we do that with the purple uniforms. THEY ARE TRADITION. Not talking about alternates. Oh we play bad in them? frick that. Lets have GREAT TEAMS play GREAT in purple jerseys to end all of this non sense. I am not saying every home game. Just mix them in some.

I’d really like us to go back to the number font we had before the newer , slimmer numbers . If I’m correct, the angles on the corners are 58° in memory of the 1958 national championship team. Now that may have been something I read on here and is bullshite. However, the numbers are slimmer. Just compared to today’s jersey to the jerseys worn in 2007. Numbers are much different and better looking in 2007 in my opinion

LSU purple is still royal purple, RGB score of 70/29/124; it's a dark purple with blue 80% stronger than red, similar to violet.

Look I’m all for keeping the tradition of GWG 90% of the time, but even if we did start wearing GPG for all home games, you think people wouldn’t still recognize the LSU brand? It was done this way for over a decade. It’s always been a recognizable combo throughout the schools history, regardless of how little we wear it now.
This sentiment that’d we’d be breaking this long, sacred tradition is weird. We fricked up tradition when we introduced white and metallic purple helmets. People acting like we’re penn st or usc need to touch grass.
