Stop running the ball left guard right guard throw on third and eight fourth quarter! Take ownership! Never throw your quarterback under the bus. RULE 1

I agree with Mark Ingram and he was right BK backtracked.

I'm curious if Nuss is given some wiggle room if the defense has a formation that will stop whatever original call. Might be too early but it's not like he's a true freshman either.

Sammy is going to tell you that we ran the ball well, and Nuss was the one that messed up.

Sammy forgets we ran the ball 9 times in the 4th quarter, many times on first down, for a total of 9 yards......but still, running the ball wasn't a problem, according to Sammy.

no in the 4th we ran the ball 6 times.

and it absolutely ruined one drive.

the Drive before the FG we lost 6 yards running the ball. Nuss did a great job getting 14 on 2nd and 14 to set up 3rd and 1.

But the idea that in the second half we’d spend the entire half with 2 stuffed run and then Nuss would have to bail us out on 3rd and long just isn’t accurate.

We averaged 4.5 a carry. without the 39 yard rush that’s 3.09 a carry.

That’s bad

We also averaged 7.9 yards per passing attempts. without the 41 yard pass to Anderson that’s 7.05 YPA. that’s also pretty bad.

That’s a horrible way to look at statistics.” If you take away all the positives, it’s like there are only negatives left?” No shite Sherlock. None of that is necessary or relevant. Anyone with eyes saw that we weren’t productive in the run game nor in the deep passing game.
