It could have derailed Skenes start. Even a 20 minute shower means tarp on, tarp off, warm up. He couldn’t have gone 5 innings. Why is this okay with you?

The game time changes can cause inconveniences at times, which I experienced on Friday, but such is life, and I think they have done a great job being proactive and finding the most ideal playing windows for what forecasts are projecting.

the same could be said with the original time slots, but instead thousands were inconvenienced

Or poor baby. Go find mommy’s bottle to suck on.

The only people that matter are the coaches and the players. Sorry.

Both Friday and Sunday games that were moved look like we could have played in the original time window. Need to realize the forecast will be showing rain days in advance a lot this spring but we shouldn’t be moving the games til the day of when we are 100% sure it’ll be a washout

Hi,

My name is trussthetruzz and I PERSONALLY was inconvenienced by the game being moved. I don't care about the team and making sure the they got all 3 games in without delay. Instead i will start a thread on TD because i am selfish and my plans got ruined. Boo hoo.

That weather was part of the same weather system. If you’ve ever followed a weather system, you’ll know that pop up tornadoes and storms happen along the entire front. It ended up making major damage away from BR, but don’t believe there was no potential of that happening in BR. Way too many things go into a game to risk that.

Had we waited til Thursday night, we would have known friday wasn’t going to be bad in BR. That leaves saturday and sunday games. By saturday we knew sunday was looking drier and a game could be played. See how that works out?

You should stick to your own job whatever that is. The weather DID hit but north in Mississippi where it wiped out a town. Your take is worthless. Besides, Coach J was, I 'm sure, far from the only decision maker here.

don’t think scheduling is really up to the coach.

Why do you guys keep saying this? Moving the game times due to weather is about 90% up to the head coaches involved and 10% school and league administration. The head baseball coaches stay in close contact with their local meteorologists and move games based on their input.

How do you move a Sunday game on the day of with a Thursday-Sat series coming up?

You may want to take that thought and analyze it more. Why are you talking to a wall? Is the wall you?

On the bright side, now we have an extra day of rest with a midweek game and an early SEC series this week.

If predicting the weather is one of this team’s biggest weaknesses, we are in pretty good shape.

Yea that’s exactly what Coach Johnson needs to study up on. Weather that is right less than 50% of the time.
