They exist. They just aren't in general circulation. Used for bank to bank transactions.

You young people don’t know the story. LSU was recruiting Kenny Jimerson from Biloxi. Abernathy went there to see him with a brief case loaded with 10 k in cash. Abernathy never showed up to see Jimerson. He reported the brief case missing and actually filled out a police report. Of course we know that he probably took the money himself. There was never a final answer to what happened to it. Jimerson signed with McNeese. Yes that McNeese.

OP is looking for excuses, and to pass blame onto someone else not named Will Wade.

I thought the Orgeron crybabies were bad, but the level of butthurt exhibited by the Wade sycophants is comical.

It’s like some weird cult. You’re right about it. No responsibility because all my friends do it.

coaches like to be flashy and trashy, saw Dale Brown eating breakfast in the old Hilton(when it was pretty new,) with what appeared to be two recruits, or a recruit and his wingman, when it came time to pay Dale whipped out a wad of cash so thick I don't know how it fit in his pants, couldn't see anything smaller than a C-note, those kids eyes looked like Buckwheat's eyes

$1,000 bills were discontinued in 1969. It's possible but obviously unlikely. They were mostly used between banks.

That denomination was discontinued in 1969. Most bank to bank transactions are now electronic and have been for decades.

I don't know but if a nickel is worth .09 then it has to be up there.

He was collecting on his rental properties. That’s his story and he’s sticking to it.

It was only $2k. You didnt have to pay very much to get players back then. He left the briefcase in his van when he went inside the hotel to meet with Jimerson. When he came out it was gone. He reported it to police and $1k was recovered from the 2 thieves who were arrested. He was cleared of any wrongdoing by police and the Chancellor at LAU

How much is a $1000.00 bill worth?
A common circulated $1000 Federal Reserve Note might cost somewhere in the $1,500 to $2,500 range. Star notes are worth at least $2,000 and can go up to several thousand dollars. Notes with lime greens seals can be worth several thousand dollars or 10's of thousands if in excellent condition.
