I concur. It's always been go directly to jail when caught with no-show court appearances. He had a the minimum, one warrant for his arrest.

I do realize this is a hard concept for many fans who live in LA to grasp. Oregon is a different State then LA.

Wait a min. I will allow you to catch your breath. There are 50 different states in this country and all operate under different laws.

I will wait for you to catch your breath again...

Many of the traffic infractions happened in California before he moved to Oregon. Some happened while hear at Oregon. Speeding and such things are not crimes they are citations, driving infractions. In Oregon one does not get a warrant put out for them if they miss a court case. In Oregon missing a court case is no big deal as it is just the same as being found guilty. All that happens either way is one cannot get their license back until they pay off the fines.

I am sad to hear you live in a State that elevates basic driving infractions into more then they are and issues an arrest warrant. Did this traffic infraction happen in LA? Oh, I see, another State. Ya, you kind of lost the grasp of that here. In Oregon, Cliffy was never arrested, just issued a traffic citation and simply let go. <<<Traffic infraction>>>. Don't ya love Oregon:)

Gee, avoid the topic with a "see I caught you in a spelling error" jab. Never heard of that one...
Pretending to be grammar patrol on a chat board is kinda cheesy by the way.

Being an a-hole to a bunch of people who do not live in a state therefore not knowing their laws is also very sophisticated!

Some fans going off about how the Oregon highway patrol officer must of been corrupt as he should of taken him to jail. Or other comments about how our sports program is corrupt for letting him off. Or how our Coach is corrupt. Or how our program will easily pay off his fines. And all such moronic comments easily warranted a little U.S. history lesson into how States each have their own laws.

Do not be surprised if our Coach/team/players/State wrongfully and moronically are attacked if a Duck does not easy point out the absurd logic some have used here.

I usually play nice. However when I see lies and twisting of facts about innocent people- that pisses me off. Stop the lies and twisting and I will easily stop making such a guy like a moron. One one cannot take it, do not give it out.

I don't think it was as much as a spelling mistake as it was that you don't know when to use "here" or "hear"

Just my too scents though.

Logic is not absurd if they do not know the law now is it? If you would have just posted a link to the law most people could have understood why there were no arrest. Now you just look like a angry dickhead who needs to go back to his little PAC.

STFU you idiot? You can type your novels all day, not ONE SINGLE MOTHERfrickER HERE THINKS YOU ARE EVEN CLOSE TO BEING CORRECT ABOUT ANY frickING THING YOU'VE SAID!

In your quacker head, you've basically said he did nothing wrong, and you have been doing it for days....

STFU--HE IS SUSPENDED! HE frickED UP AND SO DID THE OFFICER!

Im not saying corruption or whatever (yet) but if you or I got pulled over in any state in AMerica doing 118 mph with a suspended license, in a car we can't prove we have permission to drive, and with 8 violations that are unresolved and missed court appearances, WE WOULD HAVE NO frickING CHANCE OF ANY COP LETTING US GO!!

fricking deal with it jackass and quit making yourself look MORE like a tool than you already have.

Warrants are not issued in traffic court for failure to appear in Oregon unless it is DUI related ect. Failure to appear means automatic fine. That's it.

HOWEVER - if you fail to pay the court its fines, a warrant is issued on the spot........meaning you will/should get arrested if subsequently stoped for another traffic violation (assuming the window to pay said fines had expired).

ETA: I was misled in one of my searches. Oregon does not issue any warrants for traffic violations period. I know that sounds arse backwards, but it is what it is. Oregon turns your case over to a collection agency or IRS and it becomes a finacial judgment against you. If this kid waits ten years and continues to thumb his nose at Oregon, all charges get scrubbed and vanish as if it never happened.

ETA on the ETA: I'm thinking about moving to Oregon.

Dildo, you said he has citations from CA, too. You have to look at CA law to see if they issue bench warrants for an arrest when someone does not show up for a court date.

Furthermore, Dildo, LA does not arrest people for not showing up for their court date - you are guilty. However, if you don't pay your fines, then you can get a warrant issued. If he got fined over 2 years ago, and did not pay, then he likely has a warrant out for his arrest in CA. States, including CA & Oregon have reciprocity laws that call for police to arrest people if the suspect is wanted in the other state.

You are so stupid.

And you pretending to know anything about anything is kind of cheesy, when it's clear you dont. I would be willing to bet if you stop being cheesy, the rest of the people that catch you screw up in every damn post would stop being cheesy too.

When are you going to learn you are the laughing stock of this board. I don't think you understand how retarded you sound... even when everyone, including Duck fans, tell you straight out.

For once, do yourself a favor, stop posting. It's for your own good.

Just wanted to add one more thing, as another poster pointed out............some of those tickets were issued in Cali where they do issue warrants for failing to pay traffic fines. Not sure if Oregon would go through the process of extradition over a moving violation though. Do they hold you in Oregon until you pay?

They wouldn't extradite. But they won't let him get his Oregon license (or any state) til he pays all those fines... in all states.
