Maybe South Carolina will have a shot not playing that game at end of year
LSU would be in playoffs with that schedule

With OU getting smashed, maybe this is the year the committee will look at a 2 loss sec team over a 1 loss Pac 12, Big 12 or ACC team

And Dabo whines and complains that they will be kept out if they don’t go undefeated. Yes Dabo with that schedule you have to go undefeated, even then they are lucky to get in, Boise State and UCF have been kept out going undefeated with similar schedules as that.

This is the game they'll keep bringing up to justify their ridiculously soft schedule.

Miss State could make it to the playoffs with that one.

wow. ND is overrated. Let's get Patterson High School on the schedule - they would put a better fight than these scrubs.

funny how they get a scare from the Tar Heels then start dodging them on the schedule.

Calm down nerfherders, i know the schedules are made a year or two in advance but the coincidence is funny.

Scheduling Notre Dame and South Carolina out of conference is pretty reasonable. Better than Bama does year in, year out. The problem is the ACC sucks so bad.

OSU at least has road games @PSU and @Oregon. Not many teams in contention will have 2 better road wins if they get them

Clemson has no one as good as either likely

Beat Notre Dame and in. Or lose close to Irish and have more suckage from PAC-12 or Big-12 and probably in at #4.

Smart money on Clemson back in CFP. This run don’t happen in old BCS days when #3 and 4 sat home.

This is why I had zero respect for Clemson's 29 game winning streak. It's easy to win championships when you play a 1-2 game schedule each year.

This past year was a perfect example - Clemson had a big, hyped up game against Ohio State in front of a national audience. And they won. Great. But then they had to turn around a few weeks later and do it again, and they failed.

This is life in the SEC. Big game after big game, usually in front of a national audience, not at 11:00 AM on ACC Network.

One of my favorite things to mock last college football season was how much love ND got for their impressive loss to Georgia
