apparently the standard should be resume for LSU and eye test for everyone LSU played

oh and quality of loss, QOL should trump ranked wins

I hope Oregon beats Utah and Hurts destroys OSU.

There's no doubt they are protecting Ohio state by being ranked no. 1 and possibly losing and still remaining in the CFP. Being no. 1 also would give them the easier opponent in the 4 seed instead of playing Clemson if they were ranked no. 2. I just hope LSU can win the next 2 and if they do, they are going to curb stomp OSU's arse in the championship.

It is the Big 10 bias that has been there for my entire life. Nothing new here to see.

This.

They are giving OSU the easier path because they want them in and do not trust them to get past Clemson. In fact, they are insulating them from a potential loss to Wisconsin.

It's all moot if LSU loses Saturday.

Try to be objective. The rankings is a 100% tautological. It is so because a secret committee says so. This is corrupt.

True. If we lose, we are likely out of the playoffs and would face either OU or Baylor in the Sugar Bowl.

Wisconsin has 3 wins over ranked teams : Michigan, Iowa and Minnesota. Florida has 1 Auburn, granted Auburn is probably better than any of Wisconsin's wins but its 1-3.

Both have 2 losses, The losses to LSU and tOSU cancel each other out, Florida's other loss is to #4 UGA at where as Wisconsin lost to 6-6 Illinois, clear advantage Florida there.

OOC Florida played Miami and FSU who were both mediocre still better than playing Directional Florida, Directional Michigan and Kent State. Both played a similar amount of bowl eligible teams.

On strict resume, i don't how anyone could say either is much better than the other frankly. Eye test i'd probably go with Florida, but if we bitch about eye test for Ohio St over LSU how can we use it to rank other SEC teams?

Do explain how its all about TV revenue? How exactly does TV revenue go up based on Ohio State being #1

I hope they meet up in a bowl. I've never seen the big this down before. Ohio is good but EVERYONE else is absolute garbage. I've watched them play. Alabama, ga, fl matched against wisc, Penn St, Minn...lol...would be a blood bath.

The committee now thinks Minnesota stinks and dropped them 10 spots. 10 whole spots. Wtf? Wisconsin who obviously beat a team that sucks right, moves up 4 whole spots, all the way to 8th? How does this compute?
They are more than a 2 TD dog but theyre better than Florida, Alabama and Auburn? Teams that LSU beat. Hum...

So when Wisky loses to the great #1 team in all the land, they will probably only fall to 10th giving the Buckeyes a top 10 win and a top 8 opponent. Oh and LSU is playing a top 4 opponent this week. Not saying its political, but this is what it would look like.

The committee can still get it right. If LSu wins this game in Georgia they should move back ahead of Ohio State, who will have beaten Wisconsin with no big wins, really.
Would anyone really have the audacity to not put an undefeated SEC school #1 that just finished the slate unbeaten in Georgia against the #4 Bulldogs?

They will just drop UGA to number 11, right above Auburn and Alabama.

They’ll keep Wiscy in the top 10 even with another loss to OSU.

Then it’ll be “OSU has top 10 wins over PSU and Wisconsin twice...and LSU has zero.”

Watch.
