Yeah, I don’t think that’s what she said

She is an idiot. 1 time talking shite- ok. Twice and you get what you deserve. Her team needed her and she got thrown out. Might be different if 9-0 or 0-9. 8-6 you got to stay in game.

She was also warned by the umpiring crew

The announcers said a couple of times they never saw a warning and how unusual it was to eject without one.

Sure didn’t seem to be the coach who sat there and didn’t make a single roster move after ULL started the last inning with back to back hits

There is a way to get your point across to the Umps without showing them up. On thing you can’t do is run around the base paths screaming and pointing your finger at them.

I can’t imagine she didn’t get some type of warning for acting like an idiot when ULL intentionally walked her.

I know you’re fired up but you have to be able to control your emotions.

Didn't affect her AB that much

Don't know about that. Having two people in scoring position and a base open, they probably end up walking her loading the bases. And, of course batting ahead in the count vs. behind in the count makes a big difference.

He behavior was out of line though. Getting tossed (deservedly) in that situation to the detriment of your team is really inexcusable.

Were we out of challenges?

..because that was definitely a wild pitch (or hit batter). No where close to hitting the bat and being called a foul.

This is my question. And, ULL challenged (and won) on a similar play in which they reversed ball 4 and called it a foul.

She was tossed out for ignorance.

There was only 1 base runner not 2.

And she put the ball in play on 3-2. The strike made it 1-1 and she fouled 3 balls off between then and the end of the AB.

There is no real favor to anyone at 3-2 and after she fouled off 3 pitches, everything kinda resets anyway. If she would have gotten a hit she wouldn’t have said anything. She just happened to make bad contact & took it out on the ump

If I was that second base umpire I would have tossed her high, wide, and theatrically had she pointed at me and mouthed off like she did.

a senior leader doesn't put your team in that position
it was pretty selfish on her part
bad umpiring is part of the game and wasn't reason lsu lost both games

But, but she tweeted today that she was complimenting him on making the correct call

She’s lying thru her teeth. You can read her lips. She pointed and said “that’s on you”.

Guess my memory failed me. Still, my point stands. Batting at 2-0 vs 1-1 is different especially for a batter like her.

Nevertheless, her response after was definitely out of line. And the bad call doesn’t excuse it.

After she hit the home run they literally showed the umpires talking to her and the dugout.

I understand Clark just got her master's degree. I am the hiring coordinator for a company that employs 350 people. No way would I ever hire her. She does not respect authority. Good luck finding a job if the company knows of her inappropriate actions on a softball field.

Georgia Ckark has been a model athlete since she's been here. She got her MAsters with a 4.1 GPA. For you to judge her on one lapse is asinine and in no way should you be coordinating anyone's hiring process. Please don't make yourself look anymore idiotic by explaining yourself out of your comments. I fully beleive she will not have any issues finding gainful employment and will not need your approval.
