I agree with chambliss being elite and looking off defenders but judge was a defensive guy and then specials teams coach for the patriots.
Belicheck made him the qb coach that one yr with Patricia when the offense was horrible.
He has been the qb coach at Ole Miss the last couple of years but I wouldn't give him the credit for chambliss.

He did frickup and it’s a big one but we saw Weeks do this later on the flip pass so apparently we’re not being coached to have proper discipline in scramble situation.

I'm not giving Judge credit for developing Chambliss. I just feel that Judge has helped him with a few slight adjustments over the offseason on aspects of his game that wasn't there last season.

cant leave a zone until Qb has crossed the LOS and cannot throw anymore or ball in air and you going to help make a play if not to your zone. have to stay disciplined. no telling who may come through your zone again on a ad lib. the more tape i see the worse this shite looks first with leavitt now with D.

Yep, can’t lose depth if your responsibility is deep (Jimcoily) and you have to tag guys if you’re short responsibility (Weeks). We failed at both and both cost us big.

I was yelling during the game about how bad he is. Losing contain on Chambliss is inexcusable, ever. All he had to do was stay in position.

Defensively, the communication both pre & post snap wasn't nowhere what it had been in the first two games. At times there was a lot of presnap confusion. The communication should have honestly been better on the road being that the home crowd is quiet when their team is on offense.

I agree with you and I hate what we tried to do Saturday. I think sitting back, switching and all that bollocks not only gave too many easy throws to Chambliss but you open yourself to that kind of confusion more often. We haven’t had a single player get behind our secondary this year and our man pressures made Chambliss look totally different. Final point, I’ve never seen a championship defense that wasn’t aggressive but we played passive far too much on Saturday.

If Kiffin really called for & had input in this game plan, hopefully this was a lesson learned for him. You stick with what has worked so far. Let Baker cook until a team figures it out then you adjust. Don't make adjustments just to make them or out of fear.

Yes, you have to dictate the space and the time the QB has to start. Until he beats you over the top you have to challenge the WRs and hit the QB. Even if he runs you put hits on him.

Our defense isn’t built for playing zone. We are built to be aggressive. Baker being scared of a big play bust cost us big time. It’s like he forgot what we have. I hate seeing LSU DBs not locking people up

He shouldn't have been put in the Deep Middle 3rd. Spears getting hurt definitely hurt and through the staff for a loop. Now, Cooley, Ty, Jhase Thomas, and Jakeem Jackson all played well in the second half when placed in the game.
