Watching CJ, he definitely could overtake Lacy for WR1 imo. Each has their strengths, I am impartial to Daniels. He’s till learning the offense, so keep that in mind. He is so smooth and catches damn near everything. I am really hoping Hilton comes back to be able to spotlight Daniels more.

How do you think Hilton will help Daniels be better? Just curious

Allow CJ to have more room to work because they’ll shadow Lacy and go deep with Hilton. I think the offense is getting ready to explode.

It definitely could happen, and I sure hope it does!

One thing about Brian Kelly is it’s fun to watch his offenses once they start humming.

He very likely has a better attitude and is more coachable than Lacy.

I hope the hype is right, but I’m concerned because Hilton just hasn’t ever really shown much.

Yes, AA is starting to develop into the player that we thought he could be. He he a big game on Saturday. LSU has a lot of speed at the WR position that could be very hard to defend as the offense develops.

I think our receivers are looking better than anticipated but I agree…I love when Daniels gets the ball. He’s a natural.

CJ played with my son at Liberty and it is pretty cool to see him in Purple and Gold. Great kid.

Boy did he make a bad trade. I get leaving because you want to play, but he chose poorly.

He is not 1B. 1a/1a are Lacey/Anderson not necessarily in that order. Could that change? Sure it could. All three are top notch receivers. Add in Taylor as a great TE.

top receivers:

Aaron Anderson 15 catches 223 yards
Kyren Lacy 17 catches 222 yards
Mason Taylor 17 catches 160 yards
CJ Daniels 11 catches 143 yards

Just a shame it takes a few weeks to start the year each year… but once they get going they’re really going.
