The only reason they put us back at #1 was the backlash they were getting all last week. They knew they would be blasted even more after the contrast of the two games. Process is broken. Use average of AP and CP to determine top four.

Cincinnati in the top 20 is easily my favorite

They play in the AAC
Have played a ranked opponent three times, losing all three by an avg margin of 19.0
And barely beat USF, ECU, & Tulsa all of which are 4-8

Meaningless, but still weird

I think they couldn't care less about what others say about their decisions.

Cincinnati is #23 in the Massey composite and Wisconsin is #8. Are you really upset that Cincy is overrated by 2 spots?

Yes we are #1 and yes we are happy.

why should Wisconsin drop much? They played the no. 2 team in the country pretty tight most of the way, and the game was statistically about even.

Because Wisconsin was rated too high before. No way they should have been rated above Florida. And Alabama dropping out of the top ten due to a missed field goal on the road to a good team ??????

Ok? What’s your point

That a three loss non P5 without a win against a top 60 team is ranked for one.

Wisconsin has 3 wins over ranked teams, Florida 1.

I know right? How can a team who has ZERO wins over ranked teams and has 3 wins over 7-5 teams as their only wins over teams with winning records be out of the top 10. A travesty

No sense in caring what the double digits teams are doing. We only have to focus on number 4 and either 2 or 3

Never thought I'd say this, but perhaps we need a BCS / CFP hybrid.

Why should teams drop that play an extra game in their conference championships? I agree with not much movement on most teams bc teams that got to sit home shouldn’t just jump the teams that play an extra game.

For some reason, this year, I want all the sec to kick arse in bowls. To show conference dominance. I'd feel much more comfortable with bama playing Baylor in sugar, than ga.

BCS/CFP hybrid? How they gonna do that? A PowerPoint presentation is preferable.

I put much more stock in the AP Poll than I do in that bogus CFP committee poll. They really tried to rob LSU and the SEC, but in the end, they chickened out cause the overwhelming consensus countrywide was that LSU was really the legit number one seed.

As this year's bullshite CFP committee was a complete and utter joke.

This is a dying desire unfortunately. The younger generation just doesn't see it this way. But, I was raised to want the conference to be as strong as possible in order to make LSU look better. I couldn't agree more with you here.
