Fandom doesnt mean you cant be objective. LaCouture is servicable player, good dude, and great representative. But i dont have to conflate those to prove my fandom.

Or compare him to the Outland Trophy winner.......

Holy mother of god when you thought you’d seen it all on the RANT, a new level of TARDness emerges.

Don’t you ever disRESPECT the DORSASAURUS like that again or the driveman will slap the taste out of your mouth at the next TD.com tailgate.

Again. We're talking about this year. Not 4 years. Stop being so sensitive.

I thought we had been over this. He has 9 solo tackles this year. The player you misleadingly compared him too had 34 solo tackles his last year at LSU. How is listing facts being sensitive? Is it because they don't confirm your view point?

Wonder what Dorsey’s entire career would look like if not for all the injuries, he had Sapp like potential.

Because after I referenced this year you replied to me saying:
quote:

The guy had 26 total solo tackles in 4 years. Tigerdev isn't the one embarrassing himself

And why are you so hung up on tackles? 12 games w/ 8.5 TFL &
6 Sacks in a 3-4 is pretty damn good.

Can we all agree that CL had a productive year?

He's good, we missed him last season. I still remember in the 15 bama game he was the only guy getting into their backfield.

Wrong. I replied with that fact to BayouBoogie. Not to you. Go back and look if you want. Not every response I make is directed at you. Hence me replying to BayouBoogie, and not you.

Dude you posted their stats. It's the main stat you used. You said "hey guys Lacoutre had 63 total tackles! Glen Dorsey had 69 total tackles! Lacoutre is similar to Dorsey!" Well actually he isn't. For the last time, all I'm pointing out is the massive difference between 9 of 63 tackles being solo as opposed to 34 of 69. Do you know how easy it is to get credited for an assisted tackle? That's why it's misleading. I'm not sure why this is hard to understand

ETA that was you! I'm getting my Lacoutre fans boys mixed up

I wouldn’t be surprised if LaCouture ultimately ends up being just as good as Dorsey at the NFL level.

That’s the truest measure of how talented a player actually is anyway. How well do you do when you’re playing against the best.

I AM BAYOUBOOGIE BAW.

Secondly, I didn't say anything. I simply asked did you SEE the stat graphic that ESPN SEC Network showed during the A&M game? From here, I provided the stats that were in the stat graphic as a point of reference (just in case you didn't see that game). There's more than just tackles posted too.

Stop being so sensitive.

You never know. Look at Kyle Williams. Who would have thought he'd still be going strong in the NFL.

12 years and 562 tackles. Also, all 12 seasons with one team. That's unheard of these days.

Just an echo of every other statement here but Dorsey was a once-in-a-generation talent...in fact, there's a good chance you'll never see someone that good in the Purple and Gold on the DL in your lifetime.

LaCoutre is a tough kid and a great anchor on that line but he's not what anyone would call 'special'.

This is either the 3rd or 4th time you've said this. The only one being sensitive here is you, when given facts that show Lacoutre didn't have nearly the season you thought he did

Did anybody else see that surprising Christian LaCouture vs Glenn Dorsey stat graphic?

Christian LaCouture through 12 Games:
63 Tackles
8.5 TFL
6 Sacks
4 PD

Glenn Dorsey (Jr.) through 14 Games:
69 Tackles
12.5 TFL
7 Sacks
3 PD

And yet.....he disappeared for stretches of time in almost every game.

Dorsey was double-teamed every. single. play.

And Lacouture is double teamed a lot. Dorsey was considerably better than Lacouture is, and Lacouture is considerably better than the average ranter thinks he is.

In fact D Williams gets plaudits on here out of proportion to his ability. Players who get dogged but are better at their position than Williams is at his include Lacouture, Donte and Etling.
