I hope to God Jefferson doesn't leave early to go Pro after this season. That would REALLY leave us in the Lurch.

Bailey could of been released and the board would still have had a meltdown. ANYTHING to add the the fire with Miles on this site will cause an uproar, anything.

it's really strange. it seems that a lot of posters don't like miles. at all. wtf is wrong with people ?

Unless CG did some Rocco Siffredi shite to Mile's wife, this was not a good move IMHO.
You can always count on some ranter to make a comment like this without one shread of information that went into making a decisiton by the LSU staff.

What happens if Jefferson goes down in fall practice with a season ending injury?

I'm guessing that's sarcasm.

If it's not, I don't think you have much to worry about there.

I'd say people from his camp and our camp are well aware at this point the Dodgers aren't going to pay.

I'm still not comfortable with tossing Garret aside though. He must have really been struggling

This is alot like the Perrilloux situation in that we are putting all our eggs in one basket, the Zack Lee basket

I guess, but if it was becoming clear CG wasn't going to cut it and we were comfortable with tossing him out for a true frosh, how much could he have helped?

Give LM a break. all he has done is win a national championship, had top 5-10 recruiting classes every year and run a clean program. parents and recruits like him as well. he's our coach and we should be positive and support him till he's not! geaux tigers!!

If we had 2 other qbs waiting in the wings, i wouldn't have problem with it. We are thin enough as it is. Thats why it doesn't make sense. Especially with a decent chance that Zack Lee either never comes here or isn't that good.

I don't disagree but frick he was a freshman. He was probably being honest and wasn't ready.
No one was asking him to start but he still needed to prepare and be ready to get reps during the spring.
