We've had a case of on-going lack of depth since '16.

Apparently, the only way Aranda's scheme can be successful is to have 12 ea. 5* 5Y seniors on DL, 16 ea. 5* 5Y seniors at LB, and 22K 5* 5Y DBs. And woe to it if anyone so much as gets chapped lips.

Obviously, I'm exaggerating but his scheme seems excessively talent intensive and particularly fragile.

Eh. I think a defensive line that rotates more than 5 guys is a good start.

Childers is a fat POS. He also just said we couldn’t afford Herman because of financial troubles at LSU.

If you go back and watch all of Plumlee's runs we had defensive guys right there. Defensive linemen within an eyelash of making the play and LBers and DBs just over pursuing the play.

Excuse or not, Dave Aranda wasn't out there trying to make the tackles!

And if he has 18 schemes cooked up for each opponent, it should stand to reason that one of them should work.

Look at our recruiting class because that's a reflection of team needs. What position is being put at a premium? That's why we are struggling.

Aranda and O have been together since 2016. If we have holes in our roster, that’s on them.

I like Chris and Coach Neuhiessel (sp?). They are on ESPNU XM. Comparable to Cowherd, Steve A and all the rest of the Turds on sports radio that is.

This is stupid. He has been pretty good in the past few years and that's why he got the money. One down year does not mean it's time to freak out and call it a bad deal. Also, teams that have gone to the spread, quick strike offense in years past have also given up more points than they typically did prior (ex. ALABAMA)

Childers is a puss. Sounds and acts like he'd be a yell leader in a white outfit. He also is so self-righteous in judging things that it is sickening. It's as if he has a Disney logo in front of him 100% of the time, leading him to virtue signaling and express the PC pov at every single opportunity. Also, his show is supposed to be 100% college football, and as such, they are starved for content 1/3rd of the time, so he creates hyperbole for the sake of drawing out content, for PC and to keep sensational takes front and center. The good news is that Rick N is great and sensible content.

Totally agree !!

I am sick and tired of the excuses...
1. Lack of depth. We have more depth than we had in 3 years.

2. Injuries.. Every team has injuries at this time of year.

3. Guys out of position,QB too fast-... its just not guys out of position.

Any person who know a little about defensive football , understands the Ole Miss situation.
Ole Miss QB does not have a great arm and accuracy.

I will make this simple, Load the box up close like Alabama did to us with Fournette, and Make Ole miss QB beat us with his arm going against two NFL cornerbacks.

If he beats us that way, then so be it, but I be dammned if he runs against 8 men at the line of scrimmage.

What defensive scheme doesn’t?

There aren’t good defenses with out lots of talent and depth.

Aranda is more than compensated to figure out what is going on and fix it. This week won’t be a good barometer because of how terrible Arky is, but TAMU should be a decent test

Auburn has put some points on several teams averaging over 30 per game), we held Bama to their second lowest output of the season. Do you give Aranda credit for that?

Chris Childers just went in DRY....on a 10-0 team? On the #1 team in the country? On a historically good team that LSU fans should be proud of?

What a fricking cornball

I'll ask you for the 50th time and still not get a response - why didn't we ever see you complain incessantly about the offense the past two years?

While I have not be overly impressed with Aranda, thought he was overrated by many. They players made a lot of mistakes verses Ole miss. I also agree Delpit needs to rest that ankle.
