Does he actually do this too or are you thinking of Lyn Rollins?
Yeah, that's Lynn. If he's confusing Rollins with Blair, I can see why he would be yearning for Hawthorne.

Just because Georgia Southern owned UTChattanooga doesn’t mean you need to take it out on Blair. Mocs are trash.

Most professional =\= best
Blair is a professional, but not much passion and tries too hard

Ok... my bad. Wasn’t paying attention as well as I should’ve. I know Blaire is not Rollins, and Blaire does The Voice of the Tigers local stuff and Lyn does the ESPN / SEC broadcast stuff with Ben and the crew, but... to stay on task here, kiddos:
The point is that freaking homer call sounds forced and corny. It needs to vanish and get updated.

Doesn't sound genuine. And that "pucker up" crap is beyond corny. Even worse at football. Next, please.
I disagree. I enjoy Blair. I also enjoy Hanigriff but I’m glad they did an actual search and didn’t just give it to him because he’s familiar.
*I wish Alleva would read this

No. He is amazing and the best hire we have made in quite some time

It's not Blair, it’s that joke of a color guy they have with him. No chemistry, and color guy sounds like he is resding cue cards. And, he is always stumbling over Blair. I think Chris does a good job calling the game. He just needs help in the booth.

Yeah Doug Thompson is terrible. He is always interrupting Blair in the middle of a call. Particularly by making excitement comments when he thinks something good is about to happen.

Blair is very good and hope he stays for a long time. I grew up with Ferguson and loved him as well. Hawthorne did well and yes he made a mistakes but we all screw up from time to time. All three of these men have done well for LSU.

And with that goes your credibility.
That's not Chris Blair, idiot.
That's Lynn Rollins.

Blair is good. This post? Not so much.....

Listening to Jim Hawthorne for 30 years was exciting. Catching his voice on an AM station in West Texas brought me good memories and a longing for home.
Chris Blair reminds me of a professional Major League Baseball announcer. The quality is there but there is a distance. Perhaps time will be the difference.
Miss Jim Hawthorne.
