I don’t remember this at all. I basically had no opinion of him as was the case for most LSU fans.

I don’t care what opposing fans think of our coach. He can be an arse hole all he wants. Just don’t embarrass the program. Stop making cringe dancing vids with recruits.

When Kelly speaks, he demonstrates intelligence and competence. Most people are neither, and are uncomfortable when given reminders that some people are, hence intelligent and competent individuals are labeled “arrogant”. You have to hide your intelligence to make stupid people comfortable, it’s just a fact of life.

Don't forget that Kelly made that student worker go on the sky lift on that windy day... nobody has mentioned that yet as to why people might not like him.

I thought he seemed like a dick for a good portion of his time at ND, but thought he mellowed considerably during his last few years there. He seems even more mellow at LSU for the most part and seems pretty respectful usually of other schools, so I don't quite get the hate.

Cincy and early ND Kelly was a maniac and then he wasn’t. Of course, people then bitched about his passion having left him as he continued to churn out wins. I’m just happy as hell he is the HC at my school and he can go back to being a maniac whenever he feels like it. I don’t like the other SEC schools and their fans opinions of LSU are akin to the homeless guy at the corner telling me what he thinks of BK.
