That actually has the potential to be a pretty shitty/useless RB.

07 Hester was very good and was LSU's best back. 08 Scott has not caught up with Hester in receiving or blocking, but is a much better runner and is on pace for huge numbers. As far as which back will help LSU more to win games depends on how well Scott can sustain his pace. If he continues to put up Heisman numbers, than easily Scott. If he drops off or starts fumbling, then Hester.

Right now, I think Scott will be better this year though.

False

Scott couldn't get the first down last year in triple OT at Kentucky and Hester continually got the 4th down conversions done against Florida.

Hester ran 3 times up the middle prior to that 4th and 1 for scott. Hester failed to get a 4th and 1 against La tech on the 1 and a 4th and 1 conversion against tennessee in the SECCG.
This question is about as ridiculous as threads wondering why hester is not getting any playing time with LT and Sproles in front of him.

hester is white so he's much more cuddely and lovable

he was also an integral part of not only a championship season, but the championship game itself.

When Scott has that on his resume, then come with the crowing

I agree with the yards per the size of the hole, except I think a large hole for Hester would be about 14 or 15 yards. 8 is a little shy.

WOW, I couldn't possibly think of DUMBER logic, seriously.

So, you also think Hester was better than McFadden last year right? Or better yet, any Florida shitty RB 2 years ago when they won it all was also better than DMAC.

2008 Scott is better than 2007 Hester. Anyone who tries to argue different loses ANY credibility they may have had.

2007 Scott vs. Hester is debateable since we didn't see much of Scott, but I think it's pretty safe to say that '07 Scott was also better than '07 Hester.

SCOTT showed signs of greatness last year. But do to process of most coaches sometimes talent has to be groomed to there liking before they let the cat out the bag. HESTER is a hard worker great guy charles is a hard worker also, just superior.

Is this the same OL as last season? Scott has been more consistent with longer runs. However, we had two new starters in new positions in the OL last season. We can get a more accurate opinion later in the season.

scott will not start in the nfl although he may play alot.....

hester is behind tomlinson.....

auburn was big but scott wasnt the difference maker.....i cannot count the times hester made play after play against the big dogs in the sec.......hester changed many outcomes of games lsu was in......one on one..hester beats scott everyday and 2wice on sunday

hester is behind tomlinson and a 5'6 darren sproles. That is equivalent to hester playing behind holliday here at lsu.

So scotts 141 tough hard yards that wore down the aubbie defense, which resulted in aub stacking the line to stop the run opening up the passing lanes for lee wasnt' big?????

hester was big in certain games, don't get me wrong. But scott makes our offense go. I can point to multiple games where hester was a nonfactor and other players stepped in offensively. Hester will not ever start at RB in the NFL book it.
