Changes to on Campus Tailgates as per LSU Press Release..

This may affect many of you as basically the campus will be shut down to all vehicle traffic at 7 am instead of 4 hours before game time. I was told by Campus Police after 7 am you must carry all tailgating supplies in to your spot... Also I was told by the ticket office that they have no plans to offer additional parking passes this year....

Well most people who tailgate on the inner part of campus get there that early anyways don't they?

I am there at 7 every game but that does not mean that the bbq pit, jambalaya pot, 4 tables,3 tents, 20 chairs, tv, stereo and 10 ice chests are there... every tailgate on the old rules are put together atleast 4 hours before game time ... now they must be done before 7am

actually i think im good. all i have to get to is dalrymple. i was thinking it extended all the way to highland road but basically the eastern most point is tower road i guess. im fine.

I thought it has too. I tried to drive down Dalrymple last year but got turned around at the little guard shack by the mvsic building.
I think you need a parking pass for that area to get in there?

depends on what time you tried. i usually always tried around 8 and never had a problem.
