I know most LSU fans and the administration are more traditionalists, with the exception of the new music (
), but I think a berm would make the Box's atmosphere even better than it is. It would also get more people to the casual games to relax. I sit with my father who has had season tickets since before I was born, but I would even use the berm from time to time when he doesnt go and a couple of my friends want to shoot the shite. With schools like Arky, Ole Miss, and MState being able to say "we had 12K at each of our games this weekend" for their big weekends due to packed out outfields, any prolonged success of those schools could potentially encroach on our attendance streak. Without a berm, our available seating is finite.

Exactly. It creates more of a fun atmosphere. It is still college baseball afterall. Arky and State fans look like they are having a ball out there enjoying baseball game. The traditionalists can still do their thing in the grandstands while the people who want to have a more rowdy atmosphere can be in the outfield and it wouldn't hurt anyone in the least.

If they were gonna do a berm they would have had to do it before they put up bleachers. I dont really see any room for one now.

Yeah they couldn't add one now without removing bleachers. But that is the idea

I don't feel like LSU will ever add a berm to the box. They like the "controlled" aspect too much.

They won't do that because they can they sell those bleacher seats as season tickets.

Pens in the corners would be sweet, but I really don't see it happening. And to be honest I kind of like to be able to watch pitchers warm while not missing any of the action on the field.
An alcoholic berm with grilling options is obviously the only thing this stadium lacks. If we had a set-up like Ole Miss or Arky I would seriously never miss an inning all season! As it is I usually spend quite a bit of time listening from the parking lot when games get out of hand.

1. Serve booze
2. Chairback seats for all

Nope, not all of them. The left field bleachers are the same ones from the old box even though they were supposed to be replaced in 2010.
