I bet they wait until after Auburn@Florida on October 5th to decide between Florida@LSU and Alabama@Texas A&M. Florida wins and they’re in Baton Rouge. Auburn wins and they go to College Station. I usually have a pretty good read on the SEC on CBS.

I hope I’m wrong but LSU and Florida will be 2:30 that was sealed up when ATM almost lost to the piggys

That’s probably the likely scenario. But as bad as A&M has looked the last couple weeks and after airing another Bama blowout this afternoon, CBS probably isn’t jumping up and down to air Bama-A&M

Bama @ A&M is looking a lot less attractive after A&M almost lost to R-Kansas. I hate to say it since I've got a ticket to the UF game, but if I were CBS, I'd take Florida @ LSU.

A&M will be top 20. Kyle Field will be rocking. Alabama’s defense is pretty soft. It could be a 2013 type game there.

It’s enough to make CBS wait to see what happens in the Swamp next week.

Even if UF loses to Auburn, LSU-UF will be a more highly ranked matchup than a 2-loss Aggie team playing anyone.

There’s no way in hell they pass up LSU for Bama likely stomping a hole in aTm.

CBS has already had Bama twice. LSU/FL is a 2:30 lock

We really need to ditch this CBS contract when it comes time. Every other league gets their prime game in primetime. I don't care if we have to compete with them. This 2:30 nonsense because CBS insists on showing dramas or whatever those antiquated fricks at their corporate offices choose to air is bullshite. Big games deserve to be in primetime especially in the south when it's balls hot outside.

AMEN

I hope fox steals the SEC from cbs like they did go nbc in the nfl 25 years
ago.

Problem is espn shows 3 or 4 sec games at night on their various channels. I do like that.

It’s going to be at 2:30 and will probably be announced Monday. Even an Auburn win by multiple scores (which a lot of people already expect) likely doesn’t change that so CBS might as well save their option.

My question is - would the “average” SEC game of the week really pull down lower ratings at night than frickin Young Sheldon or whatever bulshite CBS is showing in its place? Me thinks not.

You may not have to hear Gary, but you’ll still feel his presence towards the end of a 2.5hr 1st half.
