I don’t see a reason why they’d use it. Alabama and TAMU are both off this week - we’re not going to learn anything more about either of them. Even if Auburn wins by 2-3 scores, is Alabama / TAMU really a bigger draw than an undefeated LSU vs a one-loss (and likely top-15) Florida?
I was very badly hoping for UF to be at night but have come to terms with the fact that we’re looking a 2:30 CBS kick square in the face..

re: Chances CBS uses the 6 day option for October 12th?

It’s going to be at 2:30 and will probably be announced Monday. Even an Auburn win by multiple scores (which a lot of people already expect) likely doesn’t change that so CBS might as well save their option.
My question is - would the “average” SEC game of the week really pull down lower ratings at night than frickin Young Sheldon or whatever bulshite CBS is showing in its place? Me thinks not.

re: You guys think the Florida game is a 2:30 lock?

We’ll find out Monday morning if there’s still a chance. CBS will either announce the 2:30 slot or defer the choice until after Auburn @ Florida next Saturday.

Yeah with Bama-A&M the other possibility I’ll be shocked if they don’t invoke the 6-day option on this one to see how UF-Aubbie plays out. That’s the textbook scenario for the deferment.
I also wonder if a 40 or 50 point Tennessee loss to Georgia on the same day as AUB/UF will have an effect. It’s looking like CBS will have to choose between Alabama/TAMU and Alabama/Tenn if it wants to max-out its 5 Alabama games this year (Ole Miss, SC, LSU, AUB being the other 4 games). With Tenn possibly going into the Alabama game 1-5, maybe this is the year CBS goes in another direction if they get completely embarrassed by UGA.

Y’all do realize that the UF/LSU gametime will be picked this upcoming Monday right? They pick the game times two weeks in advance. So the UF/Auburn game outcome will not matter.
They’re allowed to defer the decision until the week of the game a certain number of times per season (two?).
Hi guys - excited to be attending my first LSU game on Saturday! Anyone have any experience with taking the Rally Bus out of New Orleans to Tiger Stadium? Good? Bad? We’d rather not have to worry about driving home after a day of drinking, so this seemed like a decent enough option, but curious to know if anyone has any stories..
Scheduled departure from New Orleans is 11:40 am. Does their 2:00 pm arrival time sound reasonable with traffic?
