I wouldn't take it personally, it's more of just stating that many on here aren't sure what is rumor and what is actual facts and what falls in between.
Sounds like you have pretty good info, and I appreciate you passing it along as do most of the people, if not all, on this board and in this thread.
However, we are all built to read everything without proper and stand-up linkage with a grain of salt.

I hear it was a one vehicle accident and that he had to be cut out of the vehicle, so that's why the driver's side looks that bad.

someone said on another board the surgery was successful, and i'm guessing that means they saved the leg. don't know if that's true or not, but i have read this

Thanks, I don't. I just thought about clarifying what I knew this morning, but deleted the post now. This morning there were very little reports, so I just passed along what I knew. Obviously, even the family might be unsure of the cause right now and it isn't the primary concern.
Just passing it along.
Also, it does appear that the 2 passengers are relatively unharmed, as posters have asked about.
