a pic was removed? Really? wow

yet the OT can tear someone apart and it's all good. Oh that's right, they aren't stars. Crack down across the board.

Good job removing the pic.

A tip of the hat to the EMS and NOFD personnel who got him out and to the hospital. Those guys do a great job.

Has there been any news regarding the two passengers in the vehicle and if they were injured?

Indeed, a family friend of mine was involved in a serious two-car collision a few years back. While her family is waiting to hear an update on her condition, injuries that led to her being in a coma for days, the cop came and cited her.
Similar thing happened to my mom a few yrs back. A car in front of her at a stop sign pulled out in front of an 18 wheeler causing it to jackknife. My mom saw it coming so she tried to get outta the way, but 18 wheeler still hit her car about a foot behind her driver's side door.

While she was in ICU she got cited for running the stop sign, but lived so it wasn't a big deal.

True, also a "We're still investigating, but no evidence of alcohol being a component in the accident has been found."

Or something along those lines

Probably damage to city property (street car pole, signs etc)

If you are involved in an accident and there is damage to government property, you will be ticketed.

For liability reasons and for recovery of property damage by the government agency. Standard procedure.

ESPN said that he was in surgery a hour ago and that doctors were trying to reestablish bloodflow to his left foot.

Yeah. It had been raining one day and I took a turn too quick and was pissed off so my backend slid out and I spun into a ditch. When a cop came on the scene and I got back with a friend and a tow strap to pull it out, he was pissed at first that I left the scene of an accident. He said you're not to leave the scene of an accident but I explained to him it wasn't really an accident in the sense of a wreck. Once I told him that it only involved me and the vehicle just went into the ditch he was fine with it since there was no damage to anything.

Early morning, little bit of dampness on the streetcar rail, catching the tire wrong?

I know I've caught the rails on St. Charles wrong before and been caught off guard.

Doesn't help when your tired either.
