Well I meant posted photos in this thread. The video link, fine. If you want to watch it click it but it just seems putting the photo of him stuck in the car in apparent pain...people would normally like to have the option to view that or not.

The ticket likely has to do with the fact that he struck a pole which was something to do with a public utility and the ticket is necessary documentation for how its repair is paid for. I wouldn't be surprised if he received a bill for the pole as well.
It sucks and seems unfair, but it's common practice. I was in an accident where I was hit and run and because of the other vehicle I struck a concrete barricade leading up to a bridge. I was billed for the barricade repair even though the accident was not my fault. The city wasn't going to pay for it if they could possibly avoid it. My insurance worked it out with them...
That being said - I'm not a "prayers sent" kinda gal...But in this case I'm making an exception.
Hope he comes through this intact.

Prayers for him.
That had all the makings of a fatal crash.....I believe his Escalade (I believe that was what it was) performed well enough to save his life. Unfortunately, his injuries have put his playing future in serious doubt, but to have his life is the most important.
Hate to see this.

I wasn't jumping on him because he's a gump or even jumping on anyone in general. I just hadn't seen pictures of that nature posted in the actual thread and questioned the need to put them in the thread where people see it whether they want to or not.

Indeed, a family friend of mine was involved in a serious two-car collision a few years back. While her family is waiting to hear an update on her condition, injuries that led to her being in a coma for days, the cop came and cited her.
I understand its SOP and that its necessary, just think they could have held off telling the media about it.

I don't know - I was also kinda relieved to hear about the ticket because I'd rather hear it was that as opposed to a DWI/DUI, ya know?
