Sorry to get in the way of all the crying going on, but everything is updated in the first three post.

When we win out...IF Ohio State wins out I think they will be #1 and we'll be #2. Their last 3 games are against better teams than our last 3 games. BUt it will be very close.

I still think a win over #4 UGA, in what will essentially be a home game for them, would trump anything Ohio State can do.

This would not be a big surprise to me. Especially if OSU destroys everybody they play.
The only thing that maybe prevents this is Minnesota sinking and UGA beating Auburn. LSU will have that final big win, that maybe keeps them on top. Could go either way.

There is NO CONCEIVABLE scenario where UGA wins out and does not make the Playoffs.
For the umpteenth time.

I've explained to you exactly why it is listed that way. And it'll stay that way because it seems to piss you off so much.

Where did he say that UGA wouldn't be in if they win out? The SEC champ is in, unless they have 2 losses.

It bothers him because UGA is listed in the category of "most likely controls their own destiny."
I absolutely think UGA is in if they beat aTm, GT and LSU. They will have one loss, and there could be other one loss conference champions as well. So you will at least be able to stack UGA up against those other teams. I'm 99.999999999% sure UGA would be in, but it's not like LSU, Clemson, and OSU, who if they finish undefeated there isn't even a way you can think about leaving them out.

And you’re wrong. They ABSOLUTELY control their destiny just as much as LSU or tOSU, or Clemson does.

If the CFP committee drops us to the #2 spot, like some people seem to think is likely, and we lose to UGA in the SECCG, do you think we still get into the CFP?
One "expert" thinks we may drop to the #3 spot this week.

Don't think us dropping to #2 would change anything. If LSU loses to UGA they will undoubtedly have a much much much stronger resume than Oklahoma, Oregon/Utah.
Those teams will have conference titles. That's the only argument against putting LSU in.
So it all depends what the committee wants to do. LSU SHOULD be in though.

Do you mean an "expert" on this board? This place is filled with morons.

Questions going into the show tonight.
Does LSU or OSU get the top spot?
Does Bama fall any because of Tua's injury?
How far does OU climb with the Baylor win?

I think LSU stays at one this week, but that could start to change next week.
Bama doesn't fall.... Yet.
OU splits the difference between Oregon and Utah at 7.

Committee still hates OU.
Surprised by Minnesota.

USC jumps into the picture, which is good news for Oregon and Utah. If they keep winning it boost the resume of Pac 12 schools. I thought we would see a one loss OU ahead of a Pac 12 Oregon/Utah with one loss in the end. Doesn't seem to be the case.

Everything should now be fully updated.
Since we are getting close to the finish line, I added top 25 wins for each contending team. Also added future top 25 match ups.

Here is where I think we are:
- If everything holds serve (OSU wins Big 10 undefeated, LSU wins SEC undefeated, Clemson wins ACC undefeated, Oregon wins Pac 12) - then your top 4 is LSU, Ohio St, Clemson, Oregon. Whether LSU fans want to believe it, or not, OSU has a legit shot at finishing #1 and LSU #2. It will be close.
- The biggest wrench that could be thrown into play is if OSU or LSU drop a game, especially in the CCG. I could see both LSU and OSU being able to lose one game, and still getting in, which would bump Oregon out of the picture. If Penn St or Minnesota beat OSU, one of those teams will be in. If UGA beats LSU, UGA will be in. Oregon will have a weaker resume at that point, compared to both LSU and OSU.
- If Utah beats Oregon, with everything else holding serve, you will get a heated debate between Utah, Bama and Oklahoma/Baylor. That one would be tough, but I think they would be ranked Utah, Oklahoma, Bama. Very tough to say though.

I agree with you about the #1 and #2 Ranking.
Ohio State would have wins over -
10-2 Penn State
9-3 Michigan
9-3 Wisconsin
10-3 Cincinnati - they may win AAC
11-2 Minnesota or another win over 10-3 Wisconsin
7-5 Indiana
8-4 FAU - they may win Conf USA
People need to take off their P&G glasses and give some respect. That's a pretty impressive resume.
LSU's resume could look like - Wins over
11-1 Alabama
11-2 Georgia
10-2 Florida
8-4 Auburn
7-5 Texas
7-5 Texas A&M
7-5 Utah State
7-5 Ga Southern
These 2 resumes look pretty comparable to me.
