But they DO control their destiny. So there is nothing “most likely” about it.

Undefeated Clemson.
Undefeated Minnesota
Undefeated Baylor

You have 1 loss Oregon, 1 loss LSU, 1 loss Bama, one loss Ohio St.

I agree that Georgia more than likely gets in, even in that crazy scenario. But you have plenty of other teams to talk about. Hence, "most likely."

I'm for whatever scenario gets lsu to Ariz instead of Atlanta for the 1 millionth time and 2nd time in 3 weeks.

It's unbelievable that we can't seem to make it to l.a. or miami.

Why would you want LSU to have to travel further away?

i answered that. plus, if we play bama/clem/uga, that will be a big advantage for them. they have tons of alumni and are much closer to atl than lsu

UGA has no business in the top 5 with a loss at home to a 4 win SC team that started a 3rd string QB

UGA being ranked fourth is even less relevant than Bama being fifth. UGA beats LSU, they are in. If they don't, they are out. Where they sit today doesn't really matter.

If UGA wins out they are IN.1-loss SEC CHAMP is in. End of story.

So here you admit they are in. But you argue to me ‘most likely’. How many sides of your mouth can you talk through?

If Auburn wins out, they would have wins over georgia, bama, oregon,a 3pt.losses on the road to lsu and Florida. If it's the 4 best teams when the committee chooses,Auburn would be a very dangerous team.

Give it a rest man, geez. I explained why I put them in the most likely category. Most likely can mean 99.999% chance. Why are you so hung up on an opinion?

That's why I have them in that dark horse category. If they would happen to win out you will hear a lot of people making that exact argument.

Teams that most likely control their own destiny

Georgia, Minnesota, Baylor, Penn St

They control their own destinies as well. If Penn St or Minnesota win out, they push Ohio St out. Undefeated Baylor ranked top four. One loss SEC champ will always be in the top 4 unless there are four undefeated power 5 conference champs

I wouldn't be shocked to see Bama in over Oregon one bit.

Bama will NOT be in over a 1 loss Oregon, unless:
1. Bama thoroughly whips Auburn
2. Oregon wins their championship on a fluke (Hail Mary or bad call)

If you don't want Bama in the playoffs, then whoever wins between Baylor/OU today needs to win the rematch between the two in the Big 12 title game. If they split, Big 12 doesn't get in and Bama's window opens a bit wider.

Baylor still has Texas too, and that's not going to be a piece of cake.

Yes it does, because it shows the committee have no clue what they're doing. One loss doesn't matter so in this sense, LSU should be in regardless if they drop one.
